This is my 3rd batch of linkluv thus far and I feel somehow I will in no way be able to add enough links to do all the people who have helped me along the way justice. There are so many of you that I truly respect and admire I could write one of these everyday and not be finished. That’s the point though, it is on going and never ends. This list is long but each link I give is done because I mean it.

The Most Powerful Web-2.0 Tool Ever

Add to Onlywire

The must have social bookmark supertool onlywire.com

I don’t write many product reviews but this is a product any blogger can can use and have a powerful tool in their hands. You install it and it allows you to submit a post, etc. to 21 social sites with one click and fully tagged! From the onlywire site itself is where you join the 21 networks and as you do, put in your user name and password for each all on the same page. You bookmark a post and bam, it’s on 21 networks! I actually got this tip from theresabloginmysoup.com.

Remember, you have to join all 21 networks (take your time and add 4-5 a day) to get the most benefit. It’s all based on tags and that makes it easy. If you want to promote your site or someone elses, you go to their post and add it to the onlywire site you will have bookmarked in your browser. One click, add the descriptive tags and that post is tagged and listed on 21 popular web-2.0 bookmarking sites. I am about to go around to people’s sites who are real writers and help promote their fine work! If you learn to use one tool this year, make it onlywire the one and only master submitter. Below is a list of the sites used by onlywire. I also recommend to learn about each site, fill in your profile on them all. When all is said and done your onlywire bookmark is the one you’ll use. If you onlywire me, I will definetly onlywire you!!!!!

View blog top tags

If you didn’t know, the way things work now is widely based on descriptive tags, meta-tags and keywords. This is how social bookmarking sites index their information. Just to get a feel for them go to this page on technorati

and get the code for the tag cloud, the Blog Top Tags Widget. It’s the first one. You’ll see the code is this:

<script src=”http://widgets.technorati.com/t.js” type=”text/javascript”> </script>
<a href=”http://technorati.com/blogs/{URL}?sub=tr_tagcloud_t_ns” class=”tr_tagcloud_t_js” style=”color:#4261DF”>View blog top tags</a>

Paste your url over the red highlighted code and install the script in a side bar or in a post. This tag cloud lists automatically the tags for your blog. You need to know them. This is the first step to understanding how tags work.

Bobby Defends Mariuca

cooltext6114524j.GIF

Another blogger because of a recent post and a comment left on my site has prompted me to explain a few things. Dave Lucas said the following on a recent post entitled Ethical blogging:

{”Because there are certain people who are not really blogging: they think they’re in a ‘popularity contest.’ I think it started with MySpace. The race to add “friends” and more “friends” has spread to bloggers who crave links, hits and “recognition.”}

That is true of a lot of viral practitioners, of course the same is true of any one trying to be popular or make money, etc. Money means nothing to me and popularity, I honestly never think about it. The foundation of links I’m building are with mostly people who havee none at all. Very few bloggers with high authority share anything with the newbies and personal bloggers. Personally, I love to teach new bloggers how everything works, answer questions, and try my best to help them see the positive virtue in being a social-network member. I don’t judge what they write or say he’s not a real blogger or she needs to be on my space. I can write anything from stories, essays, opinion, philosophy in many different styles and I have done a lot of it. Right now I’m testing things and for reasons other than “popularity”.

The people I viral network with, I know them. I have made a lot of good friends through it. And I could care less if technorati dumps it or bans me from the web. I’m here for the challenge, for friends and the viral environment is part of it right now.

Dave said this about my good friend Marzie:

{”I came across Marzie after joining MyBlogLog. She’s a nice girl, who managed to blowout Technorati. She’s made plenty of cyber-friends, myself included. She’s racked up hits and links and been favourited… but, for what? Does anyone really care about what she writes? She’s made friends, and that’s good. She’s highly ranked in Technorati, bit so-whattie? July 10-16 there wasn’t a single new post on her blog”}

Well, we love her and think she’s great. Her blog is my favourite and she is my favourite person on line. She is beautiful and sweet:)

marzie.jpg782553774l.jpg

Dave, no matter how you slice it – that is just uncalled for and rude. Marzie is a professional writer who is having fun. Yes, you’re right, she doesn’t follow a schedule of when she posts. I remember one two week stretch of no post, her rating still went up and up! People still commented daily and still read today. The reason her and her blog are popular is because she is the friendliest, sweetest and caring person on the web! People love her! So why on Earth are you picking on her? Her technorati authority a “big so-whattie?” I hate to tell you this but she really doesn’t even care about her authority. She is just a great friend who isn’t concerned of her’s or anyone else’s ratings. As far as her trying to be popular – that is so ridiculous. She’s actually shy and isn’t trying at all to even be competitive. She helps anyone who asks her and is just the one person on this Earth who is so far removed from any of your points, it is. . .ok, I was mad but now this is funny.

I hope you understand we’re a lot different than you think. She is my friend and I would never judge her blog. Maybe you’ll change your mind one day:smile:

What Non-Tech bloggers Must Know #3

Before we even get started go to www.grc.com and click shields up. Follow the instructions and check the vulnerability of your pc. You’ll have to select shields up again when the list of programs is seen. Select the option “scan all service ports”. This is the test by the world trusted pc security guru, Steve Gibson. All the squares should be green on your results. If they’re not all green, you need some protection. Get a router! I’ll be discussing this in a future post.

Hi Everyone! In viral world there are some things you should know that aren’t always explained so get ready! What is a train? What is a meme? What is the purpose of them? Lets take MEME – Stands for Multitasking Extensible Messaging Environment according to Answer dot com. For bloggers, the Revellian definition is: It is a replicating post that moves from blog to blog building a chain of links and relies on propagation through tagging a new list of bloggers to join in. A train is also type of meme. I will explain why neither are a good link building method. They are fun and you should do some. If you also want to build power and linkage then viral tags or a “viral” approach is needed. One is for fun and one is for power! I actually have three meme’s coming soon: One very late from Amber(sorry Amber) , a food meme from Mariuca and a blogger tips meme from the BrownBaron. Amber’s is actually a link love post for thirteen posts you like from other blogs. I already started my own series of link love posts so I will apply viral networking to it by doing a new one of my Linklove Linkericiousness posts – but I will reference Ambers post and add thirteen posts I like to it. You see? I continued her meme and added another batch to my Link love series together. If you are added to 10 link love lists think about how to use them in your viral tags or like I just showed you, to keep it part of my own series and stay focused. I want to add my series to their own e-books when done (thanks for telling me Brown Baron) as I have yet to utilize their power.

Recently I joined a feed train. What’s that? It is a list of links usually in the format below:

new adds(list 1)
john doe – subscribe to feed
john doe – subscribe to feed
john doe – subscribe to feed

older adds(list 2)
john doe – subscribe to feed
john doe – subscribe to feed
john doe – subscribe to feed
john doe – subscribe to feed

When you get on the train you move the names on the 1st list to the 2nd list. You add your new people (the people you have chosen to tag) to the now empty list 1. And the train goes on. The problem is that the people on list 2 don’t have you on their list. So essentially you have given links to them all but you only get links back from the new people you added. This is why a train is not effective for gaining back links unless you are at the beginning of it!!!!! Not to say that meme’s cannot be effective, some can. I’m saying you should harness viral power (giving 100% and being reciprocated 100%).

This is why I did my feed train differently than the way it was given to me when I was Tagged. You should take a “viral approach” to your trains. Viral means it is an ongoing, everexpanding list.
What is more effective, a train (of anykind, including the linkies lovetag train) or a viral tags matrix? The viral tags matrix is by far more effective!!!!! There are so many meme’s and trains going around and a lot of them take advantage of you. They get links from you but you end up getting crumbs in return. If you join me on my feed train, viral tags or technorati faves train you are not on a train. You are part of my permanently updated and constantly growing lists.

On the top of my blog is a linklove tab. It is the linkies love tag meme I joined in on recently. Everyone on the list has a link from me. I only received back six links from it  That is why I am telling you to take a new approach. Also up top I have a viral tags matrix (my 2nd) I gave links to all on it AND I received back 100% backlinks from it. YAY! This is the difference between a train and a viral tags matrix. Now, you have to contact every link and ask each to add you to theirs. On linkies lovetags, people aren’t asking to be added in nor are they instructed to.

MY NEW PLAN OF ACTION: I am going to make feeds and faves all one list. The persons name or site and their tech fave url + feed url attached. On Memes: Am I saying not to participate in linkies love tag or fun traditional meme’s? No. Go ahead, they are fun and promote blog socializing. What I am saying is that you should have a viral tags matrix and or a viral feeds list/technorai faves list. My new plan is to take advantage of things not apparent at first glance. I am going to take all the links in my link love post (top of my blog in tabs) and one at a time add each url on the list to my viral tags matrix. I will go to every person in the list’s actual linkies love post and leave a comment like this:

Example comment of what to say:

Hi, I have given you a link in my love tags post at
http://revellian.com/revellian-linkluv/
I added your url from the list to my viral tags to build the powerful effectiveness of viral networking! Would you please add me to your lovetags or even better, create a viral tags post and add me that way. Thank you!

Revell = tag
url = revellian.com

The goal is to build a viral tags matrix that is enormous and powerful. I have 2 viral tags matrices. My second is the on I am currently building up. If you have an old viral tags post that is full, go ahead and start a brand new one. I am moving my viral tags from the tabs above to be seen as a regular post.

FYI: On Wordspress blogs you have both posts and pages (pages are the top tabs and also in the side bar). On blogger you only have posts. Pages are a little different than posts in that they live outside the normal lifecycle of posts. They stay there and don’t get archived. They also don’t have backtracks. Hence my reason for moving my viral tags to a post. I will change the timestamp of my viral tags post every month so it stays in my last 10 posts and is listed on the front of my blog. DON’T LET YOUR VIRAL TAGS BECOME ARCHIVED. Like I said just change the timestamp on it and your system will always list it a a recent post. If it is archived it has it’s links but it is dead. KEEP A VIRAL TAGS AND VIRAL FEED LIST ALWAYS IN RECENT POSTS, NEVER IN ARCHIVE. IT STAYS NEW AND IS TO BE GROWN AND NURTURED.

People, what this is about is all of us taking the wheel in our web lives and harnessing it’s power as a collective force of friends throughout the world. You can buy linkage or do what a lot of money bloggers do and ignore viral tags (some money blogs love viral tags like Jimmy from the Founders Cafe – he is the one that launched and created the tags) This is a way for all of us to gain real connective power. Not everyone knows that the mass public of bloggers is THE untapped source of link power. Some bloggers only link to big, high authority blogs. I AM THE OPPOSITE. I LINK TO EVERYONE ELSE. If we normal non-technical bloggers who write for the love of it take a little initiative we could change the world. The power we as the masses of the world are unused! One giant reason for my approach to viral networking is to PROMOTE WORLD PEACE AND FIGHT RACISM. It is time for you as a blogger to realize just how much power you actually have at your disposal. This is what I am all about. This is the reason for all these posts about viral networking. To write a great blog with imaginative stories and inspiring insights is fine but you should also take part in the viral culture of linking using link love! It’s not that much to do. You just maintain a viral tags and a viral feeds post (and or technorati faves post) in addition to what you normally do.

WANT TO MOVE FROM BLOGSPOT TO WORDPRESS? When I did my first tags matrix I moved from blogspot to my own domain. I lost all of my technorati authority. Over the past month I built my new domain’s authority from absolute 0 to 220 (todays figure)…now this is one month. I’d be in the top 10k right now if I hadn’t moved. There is a way around it I wish I had known before I had moved. So I will tell you how: Moving from Blogger to WordPress: Best Practices This post will explain how to move your blogspot blog to your self-hosted Wordpress blog and keep your authority. It’s the easiest to understand post I’ve seen.

What Non-Tech bloggers Must Know #2

Ok, for those of you who don’t know anything and never read tech blogs because their too technical. You don’t understand feeds and are lost. Welcome home. The first thing to do is join Technorati and Feedburner. Read about and know your Feedburner feed url. Mine is

http://feeds.feedburner.com/Revellian
On Mybloglog you need to enter it in as the full feed url of your site. Actually, it is the permanent url to your feed.

To read and your feed join Bloglines It’s fast and works great. Must have! Also join Delicious It is a bookmarking site. HERE’S the deal. You need 3 things to make you a viralfriend and evolve with the web not just watching it go by. You need a Viral Tags Post. A feedburner Feed Post and a Technorati fave post. These posts aren’t trains, they’re viral matrices. Trains go by, these stay. These are posts you should maintain regularly.

If you are new here, Welcome to our Viral-Friend subculture. It is the golden age of the links, or linking to another is how you give link love. Everyone I know living virally are worth knowing. Society’s perception of viral links varies widely but it has become something else entirely. Don’t fear the viral link, embrace it. It forces us to work together, for eachother thus uniting us in peace. While governments plot wars the people living there are all of our friends. I know people from every place on Earth, and I have no enemies.

So, Lets link and Feed and Fave

What Non-Tech bloggers Must Know #1

Some of the most brilliant writers I’ve ever seen write blogs. Many don’t know anything technical and many don’t care. Some are against anything promotional in fear they are “selling out” or not being a proud writer. This is a major problem for everyone, especially the non-tech blogger.

I know a few incredibly talented bloggers who should be acclaimed authors with book deals but they sit unnoticed and invisible to the world. If you write seriously and artistically without compromise you should want lots of readers enjoying your work. The bloggers with the huge mound of evergrowing readers are “money” bloggers. I’d like to see real writers do the same.

The first thing I will recommend for you bloggers with low technorati authorities is join a viral tags matrix. I have looked at this closely for several months and have heard many money bloggers say all the links are worthless, etc. I disagree 100% and argue that viral taggers are generally very driven individuals and many I’ve met doing this have become good friends.

A link is a link. Some bloggers disagree but I think they have easily bruised egos and want to think of themselves as being above this tactic and link only to “important” blogs. As a blogger you really should learn some basics of linking and other important information. The viral tags I am involved in are safe and have lots of great links too.Go to the top of my site in the tabs and click Viral-tags, follow the instructions and get started. It’s also a great way to take a break from normal writing and it can be fun!

I will personally help ANYONE get started. I love helping people so don’t be afraid to ask any question. I’ll do it for you if you are really lost. Take 1-2 days a week for your new “technical” project and you may be surprised how cool it is! If you were a great musician but played 100 miles away from anybody out in the woods living in a tree house, no one would ever hear you. If you are a great writer who blogs, take the time for a little link building. It’s easy and a great way to start taking a little charge in reaching others! Viral tags are more effective than linklove by a mile but both are good.

I am calling out to the following bloggers to come do this: You five need this. Please, if your name isn’t listed, just leave a comment and lets start!!!!! Whoever does, I will write a link filled review of your site , digg you, stumble you and add you to delicious bookmarks!   My friends Mariuca, Janice and Jeanchia would also help anyone do this! These girls know how to network

Super Triple-Multi-Meme

  • Jessica Alba: I’d invite Jessica, because I believe given a few hours alone with her I could convince her that I’m the one! Of course she’d never see the hidden agenda I have for using this dinner. It would of course be to use in a blog promotion maximizing my efficiency of text link referral ads! (yeah, uh huh)
  • The great martial arts film star Bruce Lee
  • And Bruce Lee’s late son Brandon Lee – I’d quickly get their autographs and then Father and son would need a little privacy to mourn with eachother giving me more time with Jessica! I’d ask him to sign my “The Crow Poster.”

  • 2. At this dinner, what would you serve (meal planning is the key to the soul, I think)?

Coca-cola, hot-pockets, Chef-Boyardee Ravioli and Spam (all served cold).

    3. If you could live go back in time and live in any era, which era would you choose? Ancient Rome as an aristocrat.

    Ten things I hate

Adrian at First Time Dad has tagged me to tell everyone10 things I hate!

    1. I hate when I’m the only person in line in a store and my cashier is obviously new and unsure how to process my purchase asks another cashier. Then there are 5 cashiers helping and they argue over who might have a better shot at success in solving the issue – until they call a manager who comes up 10 minutes later and schools the employess on the fine art of hitting the clear button to alleviate things . “Sorry sir, they’re trainees.” the manager says and then while walking out, my purchase wasn’t properly processed and I set off the shoplifter security alarm!
    2. I hate the common housefly. Its feet may carry millions of microorganisms, some of which cause diseases, including cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. If I hear one, it will be my top priority.
    3. I hate guys that brag about cheating on their wives when they’re hanging out with the guys.
    4. I hate the morning TV show The View. . .uhhggg!
    5. I hate MyBlogLogs new spamming feature!
    6. I hate seeing how people are fascinated with Paris Hilton, it’s not even worth writing an article about how bad she is (I feel guilty just writing this sentence!)
    7. I hate people who get a dog and leave the poor thing tied to a tree until it dies.
    8. I hate people who correct everyone all day long.
    9. I hate the fact that huge corporations like Google are above the law and owe no one an explanation for anything.
    10. I hate seeing guys (and sometimes girls) who don’t trim or pluck the thick thatch of hairs growing from their nostrils and ears! You didn’t notice it? Yeeech!

I have been tagged by Aaron at AaronCook.com

on an his eightfacts meme (link to his post)!

    THE RULES:

    1. Post these rules before you give you the facts.
    2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
    3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) eight people and list their names (linking to them).
    4. Leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they’ve been tagged!

    8 Random Facts About Me…

    1. My favourite thing to do as a kid was breaking windows with rocks, sling shots – I loved it!
    2. I was suspended from highshool the maximum of 27 days per semester and had Saturday detention EVERY Saturday all year for 4 years straight!
    3. At an old Job where the owner’s wife was a mean, callous witch – before I quit I said something bad would happen to her. She died two weeks later.
    4. I managed a liquor and wine store in a dangerous part of town where lots of robberies occured. Five very large gangsta type thugs were in the store and I knew they were thinking about doing something. One said, “You got a gun back there? Let me see it.” I said with a twisted smile, “If I show it to you, it’ll be last thing you ever see.” They all bunched up across the counter looking at me. They couldn’t see my hand which clenched a large pistol under a magazine, cocked and pointed at them. One said, “What if we bum rush you boy?” They laughed. I looked at the alpha member of the group and said, “All I know is I’m gonna blow your head off first. Thats a given, YOU. . .will die. Then you and you. You other two are scared little chicken boys, so I don’t have to worry about either of you. I then said I took the job specifically hoping to legally kill some people and their arrival was the answer to my prayers. Before they got out of the store, one turned and said, “you one crazy white boy.”

    Feedtrain Extravaganza

There was a feed train that made the rounds a while back but it wasn’t too successful. This time it’s back in full force and it seems that more people are looking to participate. This train was revived by JohnCowdotCom.

The idea behind this train is to try and get more subscribers. I know that most of you won’t want to subscribe to every one that is listed so just take your pick  .

I was added by the Brown Baron and Jean Chia Make sure you subscribe to all of them. If you use the google reader you may want to add a new folder for each fee (to store each one in, just go to bottom of your feed list and select add new folder when you subscribe to each ) This will also give you extra incoming links like link love etc. All in all it’s worth it if you work it! ALSO, I will be happy to add any new ones you have to my list and vice-versa. Don’t hesitate to ask, the list will be longer but it’ll also give you more subscriptions! Why not fave them all at Technorati and ask them to return the favor when visiting each blog?

I cheated and added six. Everyone should add Emila’s blog to their list because she only has ONE subscriber! Lets give the girl a boost! I currently am subscribed to everyone on my list!

    Add to Technorati Favorites

The six new adds to my list are in the list. If you are on this list you are chosen to do your post too! I didn’t just add 6, I added 62 instead
