That is really really lame. I can’t believe that a reputable company would do something like this. Maybe I missed it, but are they really affiliated with ezinearticles (dot) com. If so, I won’t be publishing any articles there. Thanks for the heads up.

What do you mean when you said “Google punishes us when we link to unrelated sites”?

How would Google know if the site in related to mine in content or not?

With regards to your thoughts on money-making sites, I very much share the same view. I would not sacrifice friendship for money. To be honest, I tried to put up some ads in my humble site sometime back. And I also set up an account when one can write sponsored posts. But then I realised that I am not good enough a writer to write a sponsored post to both appeal to the sponsors and my regular readers! (Maybe if there is an ad for Spiritual Getaway … I can write something on it? **chuckles **)

Hence you would see that my site is now pretty much ad-free. And I have no intention in the short future to make money out of blogging. I think it takes a great blogger to be able to balance money-making and friendship-maintenance in the blogosphere. My humble views.
