Reveal your Desktop To The World

I was tagged by Speedcat Hollydale on his post Desktop Madness! Look at mine and others
then again by Rolando on his post What’s on your Desktop? and yet again (I love run-on sentences and breaking all grammatical rules) by the Genie Princess (Mariuca) on her post What’s on your Desktop?

My Desktop Free View Instruction:

A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.

You can do a screen capture by: [1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). [2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V). [3] If you wish, you can �edit� the image, before saving it.

For MAC users: Press [ Apple] [ Ctrl ] [ Shift ] and [ 3 ]

B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.

C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.

D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants. For me, I just hit the printscreen button and it generates mine (I used Gadwin Printscreen freeware for the screenshot)

    Bobby, where’s your desktop? All I can see are icons haha. My desktop looked like that until I forced myself to do some cleaning(that hurt). :mrgreen:
    I’ll have my desktop picture up later today. Just need to make sure it’s somewhat clean heh.

    Janice: Yeah right! No big business, I’m just a techno-freak. One of the computers is connected with what’s known as a “bridged” connection. I can see all incoming attempted connections but I am completely invisible. It simply protects and alerts me to any incoming evil hackers! :smile:

    It probably wouldn’t be too interesting anyway, I just got my computer back because the hard drive crashed; my desktop is pristine!

    Menopauseprincess: Type Gadwin Print Screen in your browser and download the great freeware program. Once installed, just click the printscreen button on your keyboard and bam, you have a high quality screenshot. Then go to wiredness.com to reduce the size of it so it will fit in a post. You can shrink it other ways, but this way, it will look nice! :smile:

    Hey Bobby,

    Gadwin Print Screen didn’t work in the browser, but it did in the search (www.gadwin.com)
    HOWEVER, I’m on a mac and system requirements are only for pc’s.

    Just create one single folder and put all your shortcuts in there. :) Nice clean desktop again.

    I agree with you about the hack talk. There is a big misconception about hackers, and what we’re they’re about. :wink: Most hackers aren’t malicious at all, they are just trying to have a little fun. It’s the other 10% that you have to worry about.
