How Do You Make Money With WidgetBucks?

You make money every time someone clicks your ad. You also make money through referring someone to WidgetBucks. I will say it is the easiest sign up and set up I’ve seen yet! It takes less than one minute to join.

Why Should You Join?

The best incentive is that they have an extremely high CTR (click through rate). According to their site, you earn $3-6 CPM which is quite a bit, and that sounds great to me! Sign up now:

There are 13 categories of advertisements which also have subcategories so you can easily fine tune your ads. They have MerchSense which is an advanced contextual advertisement algorithm that automatically selects what’s best for your site.

Sign On Bonus

The coolest part is when you sign-up with WidgetBucks, you’ll automatically receive a $25 bonus! At the very least, it’s worth $25.00 to give it a try.

I’ve personally been looking for something that will work and this seems very promising. If you have been struggling to make money, I believe this will definetly help.

Here’s what one of the ads looks like:

Compared to most of the programs out there this one rocks. Even if you don’t stay with it, the $25.00 sign up bonus is worth 2 minutes. Let’s build a massive network of referrals together. I will personally help anyone who joins. Look at what you have on your site now and cut some dead weight!

Most Affiliate marketing companies require a SSN by law! I think it’s safe and it’s done on a secure connection like Pay Pal. You’re safe Menopauseprincess.

You can sign up directly with many of the affiliates that they feature and make even more money. Widget Bucks takes a cut. Think of it as paid posts. If you get a review on your own you’ll make more money than say going through an paid post company like Sponsored Revies or Pay Per Post. I picked up three reviews on my own and made over $100 for each one.

I approach online monetization as an affiliate marketer. I definitely would eliminate them and go where I could make the most per sale.

I forgot to mention that applies to their affiliate program.

If you check out their TOS it states that they can market your name & website however they see fit. I don’t like that.

    Publicity.
Client agrees that Mpire may use Client’s name and logo in presentations, marketing materials, press materials, customer lists, financial reports and Web site listings of customers and therefore grants Mpire a limited license to use Client’s logo in accordance with the foregoing.

They also had a hidden back link in that code as you are not allowed to remove it. I have heard it has been removed but since I don’t use it I’m not sure how accurate that is. In order to get rid of the link, if you have it installed already, you have to update your code. As you know the big G does not look favorably at those sort of things and those who want to be by the book with big G better update that code.

I understand what you’re telling me but I don’t really know how to go about picking up my own reviews! This is all so new to me and I don’t have much business experience.

When you say “I approach online monetization as an affiliate marketer”, I have an idea what you mean but I need more. You should write a detailed post about it. I would love to do everything without using one of these sites like widgetbucks. I don’t know what I’m doing yet!!!!

  14. Revellian on October 29th, 2007 1:45 pm

I know that the hidden back link has been removed. The code I have is new. Which of the Affiliate programs do you think are best? I don’t know what to do! I am just trying to learn. You have me reading all day Opal!

Try commission junction don’t get discouraged if you don’t do well in the beginning guess what we’ve all been there. I really stunk it up good in the beginning then I started using principles I used with my business into affiliate marketing. :-)
I’ll send you some info via email (either later today or tomorrow) that most likely will help you out. Give me your addy and I’ll send you a few books about business because in essence that is what you are doing. Emyth was an excellent book if you don’t have it and want it. It’s yours.

Even though your website is community based just like Vegan Momma you can still market products that you have used without selling yourself out. There are thousands of businesses that recognize the value of bloggers like us. They realize that we have a voice and people trust us. To be honest at times that scares the heck out of me knowing the amount of trust some of my reader place in me so I really scour things before I recommend it.

I’m also testing out a new venture that would be great for people wanting to make money online. I’ll give it a whirl for a few months before I write a review. I do have a friend that makes over 6 figures doing it.

Money is not what drives me just being “secure” and “mistress of my domain”. ;-) I don’t like depending on anyone financially and I do want to help others if I can whether it is open their eyes to th ways they can be financially secure or reclaiming their health.

The internet has opened a whole new world in ways you can make money online. Of course you have people that prey on others but you and I and countless others aren’t like that. I strongly believe there is a happy medium you can do it tastefully without selling your soul. You and your community have a positive voice they all need to be heard regardless of what their goals are. ;-)
I’ll work on a review it might take me a while but I’ll get it done!
