I Choose To Be Happy

Today, I choose to be happy. I choose to feel positivity explode through every part of my being. I choose to not hold grudges, to not hold resentments, to not judge others. I choose to forgive. I choose to love myself!!!!

I choose to find nice little blogs nobody pays attention to and leave them a nice comment. I know what it’s like to write a blog nobody reads. All new bloggers go through it. You write a magnificent article, you put your heart into it…yet nobody leaves you a comment. I know that feeling, it’s a feeling of sadness and loneliness. It feels so good to have someone come by and leave you a comment.

I ask you all…go seek out these blogs…leave them a heartfelt comment. Introduce yourself and say hi! Tell them something uplifting and make a new friend!!!! Yeah sure, maybe a blog isn’t relevant to your interests. Maybe it’s someone you normally wouldn’t say anything to. Go out of your way and tell them hello!

I choose to leave a comment on every blog I visit, just to try something I’ve never tried before. I am filled with positivity and hope, I choose to share it with everyone!

It’s nice to see you wanting to give some love to the newer and less commented-on sites. It’s nice to see someone with such a large audience as you have remembering your humble blog beginnings and being willing to reach out to others who are now in those same circumstances. And it’s wonderful to see that you’ve chosen to be happy today. Great attitude, great ideas, and great post! :D

This is a wonderful post. As one who struggles with a hormonal disorder, I try to remind myself that yes, my depression is something that is difficult to control, but being happy is a state that takes a concious decision to be in. Emotions may not always reflect it, but our actions can. Emotions make a terrible thermostat anyway, but they make a great thermometer. And I also love the smiley.

Hi Teeni! I will always be a blog beginner! So many people strive to show why they are “experts”…I am a beginner, eager to learn and share

Bobby, It’s wonderful to know you’ve chose to be happy! It shows in the way you write. it also floats off of you and on to others! I try to find new blogs to read everyday, thats the way I found your Blog. My friend Jackie mentioned you in a post and off I went for a look. When I got here, I read the sad words you had wrote and all the pleas for you to come back safe and happy, I understood the importance that you making the decision to come back would have to be your own. I am glad you took the time you needed to awaken happier and healthier, thats what matters…. So Peace be with you and all you do, May life bring you happiness, the world will be the better for it….

Hi Judy! It’s nice to see you. I am learning how to be happy and it does take effort. Happiness doesn’t just naturally occur for me, but with a powerful conscious effort, it seems to have taken on a life of it’s own. It feels good to share what I feel, sharing is the best part!!!!

    Oh Bobby!

I know how that feels! To put one’s heart to write a post and only to find out that the writer was the only reader.

Thanks for always putting such nice comments to my humble site. They really served as encouragements for me to continue writing, blogging.

You are really doing great, Bobby!

Trust me happiness doesn’t just come sit with me either, I have to make that choice too. I have lived a life that some would never have made it out in one piece. I have suffered though mental abuse, sexual abuse, drugs, being beat by men I thought loved me, I have been used and left holding the bag, facing the deaths of 2 of my Children,ETC, ETC~~ I have been through a lot of life issues that most would just lay down and quit.
I choose to be happy and to try and make others happy along with me. I love blogging because its a way to release all of the crap. the only issue I deal with now is these boomerang children I have LOL LOL oh and trying to quit smoking…..
Oh hugs Bobby, I so like you and I also hope you have all the happiness in the world, you deserve it,but then so does everyone else~~
    Peace!

You continue to hit the nail on the head Bobby, thanks for the inspirational thoughts.

I have decided this year to make a conscious effort to read outside of my normal list of blogs which tend to be primarily tech and Apple related. It is surprising what you find when you step outside your comfort zone isnt it ?

I thoroughly approve of your attitude, Bobby. I was recently asked to help moderate a new bloggers forum - the main thing I have been doing is greeting new members, going to read their blogs and leaving comments. I am thoroughly enjoying helping and encouraging the newer bloggers, it has given me a new lease of “blogging” life.

I have also given up writing for Google and do not care how many outward links I am giving. Who wants mere visitors via a search engine when you can get interested readers instead.

Hi Sue!!!! I used to “write for google” in many respects. I taught droves of people how to increase page rank…all of them are ranked well…but I am a PR0!!!!! hahahaha:) If you have equal blogs….one a self hosted wordpress, the other a blogger blog - the blogger blog will have a PR4 and the WP blog will have a PR0  hahaha…I feel good about getting all that out of my system… I’ve been freed

I think it’s a great idea to visit and discover new blogs and friends. Sticking to ur current blog friends alone will only limit ur possibility to expand ur readership and friendship. Great post Bobby! :)

Hi Scott! I’m just here to meet people from all over and to learn! I learn a lot by reading many genres of blogs. Though money blogs are the least interesting of all blogs to me, there are lessons to be learned from them as well as any others
