It happened during Moses, before, after, and again and again. The description - humanity engrossed in a forgetfulness of our purpose here. Yet, I see this as an opportunity for one to do the work in the re-emphasis of the wake up call. It's a choice, potentially a commitment, to those who have awakened.

Thanks Judy! I was mad when I wrote it but in no way was I referring to your blog. You're my friend and I'll read your blog no matter what you write. Thank you for this meaningful comment...you have given me much to think about

Bobby, I have thought about some of the things I said, I wasn't angry, just saddened that you said you were ashamed of being American at the moment.
I agree fully with you on the issues of voting, its our right as an American and our duty as a free citizen of these United States to stay informed and use ALL of our privileges. The one thing I really sort of took offense to was the thing about serious blogs and the way they are ignored. You said<strong> "If someone writes something of actual value, with true meaning and depth; it will remain ignored."<strong>/ ( I hope I did that right) I just don't think that's true, Your very own Blog holds that remark not quite on point. You have a vast amount of readers, one's that truly care about you and your Blog. I saw that by the countless numbers of people that begged you to come back to Blogging when you were gone, you don't really think they just wanted you alone to be here do you? Don't you think they enjoy reading your Blog posts, whether they are serious posts or posts for fun, they emit you and your passion for Blogging and life. I admit that some of the more serious posts I have wrote, don't get hit much, and I even concede that the one post of mine that got the most comments was labeled "Food Porn" I still think that my readers love to have my Blog[s] and ME around. I just started a blog that is on a very serious topic, Child Molestation and the hellish life I endured as a child, even if no one ever posts on that blog I KNOW that it is worthy of writing and worthy of reading, I don't care if others never say attah girl, ever, period.
I enjoy you and I think you're one helluva guy.... Do what you do best, inspire people to be real, to think, to vote, to be.....
Hugs and so much love for my fellow Blogger, Judy

Thank you Christy, you are right. I think you know how tormented I am. When I look at the world, I cannot help but see the truth. This country of America, where I was born represents pure vanity. To think that Paris Hilton's quote "That's hot" - represents our nation, breaks my heart...but it does in many ways define America.

Each of us blogs about what we want and I don't believe any of us should feel like we have to write about "important issues". I don't like writing endlessly about these things either.

History repeats itself. I feel like one of the many unheard voices in the ancient city of Rome, giving prophetic doomsday speeches about it's demise. if only I didn't know the truth. I will try to enjoy the freedom I have right now and scold less.

Your comment helped me very much. I will try some different approaches...let me write some fiction...hahaha!

Thank you so much!!!!!!!! Here's love and hugs for you

Hey Bobby,

The way I see it, is that each blogger has their own style that adds something to the blogoshpere. Someone blogs about cancer, someone blogs about celebrities, someone blogs about shoes, and on and on. All of these things can be of importance to readers.

Someone who is sick and needs to laugh can benefit from a really stupid blog post, laughing is important too. Not everyone is in the mental position to make a huge difference because they are just trying to get through their own daily struggles.

What I'm saying is that not everyone is meant to blog about serious issues. Maybe that's your specific gift to the blogoshpere, to shake things up and wake people up.

Instead of taking the angle of scolding bloggers because they're not taking world issues seriously, I think you might want to consider making your posts about the subjects (issues) that you are passionate about and then tell us what we can do to help. Add a donation button etc. I believe many people do care and want to help but don't know how or where to start.

Just my opinion, but I think this is the way that you could make a difference. You have the ability to get people's attention, you can use that gift to change the world.

Love you Bobby, hugs:)

No problem, and you will have to do a little digging on Smiler’s blog, because she’s been feeling out of sorts lately, but she definitely has posts that call attention to things we need to be paying attention to.

The same with TIV, but you won’t have to dig as much. Just three or four posts down I believe. I commented on TIV’s blog that I wonder what would happen if the entire country boycotted the vote, as a protest that we don’t find any of the candidates acceptable for leadership. I doubt we could ever pull it off, but I still wonder what would happen.

Here it is! how unusual! Yes...we have the power to do something like that...but we are too apathetic to take control of our power!
