This is my 201st post (YAY!!!) along with marking my first year in this incredible communication medium known as blogging. Writing and reading so many great works has taught me that I am a tortured soul who is on the path of spiritual recovery (and that I may be a little wacky…according to my buddy Marzie…hehe) and is trying to get over being fed up with himself.

I also want to say Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! I don’t know what I’d do without my wonderful Asian friends…there are so many! I especially want to thank my many Malaysian and Singaporean friends who have been so kind to me. I have something coming up for you incredibly inspiring friends.

  • My first recommendation in this week’s edition is Zeitgeist-The Movie. If you only watch one documentary this year, watch this one. It is two hours long but well worth the time. What is so unbelievable is that you can watch it for free. You cannot rewind or fast forward the film (unless you download it) but you can pause it. This is my #1 most highly recommended site of the year. Even if you disagree with it, you must watch it…it is awesome, inspiring, shocking and beautiful.
  • Next, my good buddy Euroyank let me know about another great film (actually, he let me know about Zeitgeist also, a few months back) entitled Loose Change – Final Cut from the site www.loosechange911.com. This film takes a hard look at the events surrounding 9-11 and does actually present evidence from both sides. Thank God we still have the ability to produce our own media, that is what being free is all about. There are several films at the site and you need to watch them all.
  • Speaking of Euroyank, be sure to check out his Corporate Fascism – The State Within the State. This is just one of endless great posts; like I said before, I will help him along with anyone interested to spread the truth. Without the truth, we are all living a lie.
  • My friend Jackie wrote a great poem, Piercing, which contains many powerful elements including darkness and beauty. I enjoyed reading it and so will you. Jackie is a very sweet person who has a big heart!
  • I am so proud of two bloggers (who are both new friends) who have decided to write their own weekly link love posts, where they share articles they enjoyed recently:
  • 1. Square1 started her Muse Approved Posts – what a great title! She is a fantastic writer and more importantly, a wonderful person. While you are there, read several of her posts; you will not be disappointed.

    2. Madhur Kapoor started his Super Sunday Links Episode 1 – another very cool title! Madhur’s blog is all about gaming and technology (I met him through my buddy the Brown Baron). He writes a great blog and deserves to be read as he puts a lot of hard work into his site! Again, be sure to read several of his articles.

  • My new friend Sean Rasmussen (I met him a few months back on Stumbleupon) wrote Mindset Mastery eBook, this is free for you to download and read! His site is very inspirational and his ebook is fantastic. I spent most of today reading it and I have learned a lot. Sean is a great guy and you should read his book, which has been downloaded over a 1000 times in only six weeks!
  • Michael Skowronski, the author of Unforgettable Love Story, wrote Crime and Punishment – Both are Insane! This post explains how the punishment of humans is an outrage and there are much better ways to deal with these problems. I don’t know Michael very well, but the ideas in his writing are beautiful and incredibly meaningful. All of his posts are great, and you should take the time to read them. I agree with him on many issues. Love and the act of radiating it, is the true answer to the world’s problems. Thank you for writing such important information!
  • Last but certainly not least, is Mike’s (from Things by Mike) incredibly imaginative The art of finger fighting, a short film he made himself which incorporates cool special effects, humor and fun, all under the title of Sick Jack Films (what an awesome name!). He has another cool short film, Playing with sound and special effects featuring a gory suicide scene, I absolutely loved it…hahahaha! Mike, I hope you watch Zeitgeist…I promise, you will love it.
