As an American, not only am I politically confused, I am disgusted. There is a massively deep division between democrats and republicans and within the parties themselves. This upcoming election is not “fun” to watch and is not making me feel patriotic. Does it make me unpatriotic or less American to question our leaders intentions?
It’s amazing how different people see politics depending on which state they live in, what country they’re from, education, religion and so forth. Since I’ve “come down” from my prescribed anti-depressants I feel like I said some things in my previous post The New World Order – Zeitgeist which were born of anger. I believe that I allowed emotions to cloud my judgment.
One thing I am certain of is that America is screwed up in so many ways. Classes are becoming more separate, education is at an all time low quality and yet, somehow, I’m supposed to vote for a candidate (and feel good about it). That’s a tall order no matter how you slice it.
In Regard to 9-11
The truth is, I don’t know what to believe. I’ve taken a hard look at the available evidence from both sides, and still – I am absolutely unsure of anything. That is so sad. What a heavy burden for any of us to endure.
While my brain was adjusting to taking no medications, I was swept up in conspiracy theories about 9-11 (that’s enough to drive a person crazy…haha). The very idea that our own government could have had something to do with killing 3000 of it’s own citizens is of monumental concern. Is it true? Is it just conspiracy theory nonsense? Is it partially true? This is the problem, I just don’t know.
If the Bush administration had been much more forthcoming and open in it’s investigation, much of this could have been prevented. All I can say is that these people look so suspicious! It’s enough to drive people mad. I’m mad about it, aren’t you? I do feel much calmer now and that is such a huge relief.
The very thought of not knowing is just as bad as the theories all being true in many respects. Presidential candidate Ron Paul puts the idea of the “New World Order” and “The North American Union” in perspective for me. It’s not really a shadowy group of nefarious people plotting secretly to rule the world, it’s a matter of differing political beliefs. One group believes in globalism, and the other believes in national sovereignty (speaking very broadly).
Here’s a video of Ron Paul explaining the North American Union:
[wp_youtube]sOZIGPUPQVc[/wp_youtube]
One World Government?
The idea of a one world government is not a new one. From an idealistic standpoint, it offers many benefits such as having no wars and borderless nations – all of us joining as one people under one rule. This sounds good? I used to think it did until I began educating myself, looking at all sides. Then again, I have no idea what I’m talking about.
With a one world government, there will be one authority with no real way to assure there is no corruption. Corruption will always exist as it is a reflection of humankind’s imperfect laws. Having many countries under separate rule helps keep corruption at a minimum (or does it?).
Of course, I am certainly no expert in any of these areas, and perhaps I should keep my opinions to myself. I will tell you that I am against the idea of war and very much against the death penalty. I don’t want to cause problems to get worse and write things that support the wrong people. I just want world peace…what an idealistic fantasy.
Final Word
I am not turning this into a political blog…haha! Many readers come here, see a political article and are automatically uninterested. Hey, I understand! Politics suck! Most people blog so they can get away from all this, not to read more of it! If you see me write memes and stress free articles coming up, I hope you understand – I need a break. I think I’ll spend the next few days reading and commenting on other blogs, I finally feel up to it.
Today, I will eat an entire box of chocolate doughnuts and wash it down with ice-cold rootbeer (as you know, they are both filled with mind control substances completely designed to destroy my civil liberties).
So I confess, I am like so many of you…politically confused and absolutely fed up with all of it.

You know what sucks, is that we were not supposed to have to be limited to one candidate for Republican and one for Democrat. The bi-partisan system is screwy, but there’s too much money to be made off it to get rid of it. I think I’m landing in the Obama camp, though honestly I still don’t know. If it comes down to Clinton and McCain, I think I’ll just pack up, move to Canada, and say the heck with all this crap.

I know the feeling! What a choice. I will vote for Ron Paul even though I know he has no chance of winning…provided that he is on the ticket (though completely dismissed by the media).
I want one vote per person with an attached paper trail…though that’s another pipe dream. I’d like to see the entire country march in the streets proclaiming, “We want a new government altogether!” I think you mentioned something like that before.
It’s almost impossible to not become disillusioned with the entire system. I live in the heart of a Christian based community which is filled with racism and ignorance of life in general. I’m thinking seriously about moving.

Hi Bobby. Watchin Ron Paul on that video (first time I have laid eyes on him or hear him speak), I must say first impressions are good. It appears that he speaks from the heart. Needless to say, he speaks a language that will squash him. Not by the electorate (the people) but by the parties who elect themselves. The Donkeys and the Elephants.
I constantly tell people to vote with their heart, not because they don’t want to waste their vote on a candidate that can’t get in office. That sort of thinking will never bring about change, ever! Every great journey starts with a single step. Voting for Ron Paul is such a thing (if he’s genuine). Of course, if he gets in office and makes changes that the Fed doesn’t like, he’ll end up like Lincoln and Kennedy + a few other presidents that baulked the system.
We have the same system in Australia. 2 major parties that collude and know this: It’s better for the other political party to get in office than a third party, because it means eventually the pendulum swings over to the other side. In the US, it’s Republican or Democrat. It seems (to the outside world) that the greatest democracy in the world (after India, sorry! Look it up) isn’t so democratic after all.
** To avoid upsetting anyone, look up the meaning of the word: “Great”. India is the greatest democracy in the world. Funny, isn’t it?
Just a little interesting “rumor”: The Illuminati was founded by Grand Daddy Rothschild in 1776. Their 300 something year goal is a One World Order. They are now 5 countries short of achieving this. With Afghanistan + Iraq added to the list recently (of controlling the entire worlds central banks), Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Libya and Sudan are the last 5.

Hi Sean! The candidate I like least is Hillary Clinton; I feel confident that she has no chance. I like Ron Paul, but I’m not keen on his foreign policy.
I’m familiar with Rothschild and the other World Banks. I had someone ask me if I had something against Jews while discussing these ideas; it’s actually never crossed my mind until I was asked. I’m thinking in terms of money, not race. Needless to say, it is a sensitive issue with many people. Personally, I think that globalism is inevitable and there’s nothing any of us can do about it – what a complex issue to even think about!
What is important is that we are and must remain good people with high moral character on a personal level – the government cannot take that away from anyone

I agree Bobby. I t has nothing to do with race, at all. The fact that that family are Jewish or not has little to do with their influence on the world and its politics. People just read into things what they fear most I think. A wise man once told me that the most disadvantaged species on the planet is the Male White Caucasian. Everything he says will be totally overanalysed and cruzified at first opportunity. Here is Australia the media cant mention if an offender is anything else than white otherwise its discrimination. Fancy that! I just want everyone to live together on equal terms but I can’t say it because something will be interpreted as racist because I’m white. You’ve got to laugh at that don’t you. Is this karma for our ancestors sins?

… anywho – I’m almost afraid to talk politics nowdays because people are SO intense on this subject. You can loose a friend almost.
I believe that there are forces working on this planet much more powerful than any President. Things that are not always made clear to the public. New World Order is definately something to take into consideration.
As great as technology is, I think it will ultimately be our downfall. Cities and towns where family, honesty, and character meant a lot, and companies that were a place that you could “almost” count on existed, are becoming relics of the past. One world?? Much to diverse to accomodate with one set of ethics…. or no ethics for that matter.

Great post buddy. I am fed up too. More than fed up, actually. There is so much that is wrong with our government and our international policies that it’s sickening. This is why we need someone like Dr. Ron Paul in office now more than ever. Ron Paul is the only one who will get my vote. I simply cannot deal with another 4 to 8 years of this bs.

You’re right, Bobby. He will get a lot of votes from the military. In fact, Ron Paul’s campaign gets more financial support from active-duty and retired military and their families than all the other candidates combined. And that’s pretty powerful. They want out of this warmongering nonsense just as much as we do. More, actually, since they’re the ones actually dying because of it.
And they just had a pretty thrilling rally at the University of Texas. Between 4,000 and 7,000 people showed up for it. Wow. The numbers are strongly growing, so I’m not counting him out just yet.
Btw, if you want to see something truly interesting and inspiring, take a look at this: http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp
Ron Paul is the ONLY one who isn’t running a campaign based on debt.
I think this is clear proof of how the others will treat our national budget and economy. If they can’t even keep their own campaigns out of the red, then how the hell will they keep our nation out of the red?! Ron Paul is clearly the only trustworthy and responsible one among them. And he continues to prove that over and over again simply by what he does personally.
Shine on,
Aaron

Being Caucasian, it’s impossible for me to understand racism the way a minority does but I think racism is horrible…the most revolting of the human condition next to murder and rape. I do make an effort to be careful with what I say and I do learn something new and important every day.
I’ve been watching some of the latest Australian news the past few weeks! It really is very similar to what is going on here! Thanks Sean

Hi Aaron! If anything, this will help pave the path to creating a valid, 3rd political party. I know he’s running as a republican, but that’s only because running as a libertarian doesn’t work…yet. He’s just playing his cards smartly. Candidates really do buy their way in. It’ll be interesting to see just how many votes he gets!
