Thanks for copying and pasting my comment Bobby. I appreciate it. And yes, Ron Paul is playing his cards very smartly. He's definitely a very intelligent man. :)

Hi Aaron! If anything, this will help pave the path to creating a valid, 3rd political party. I know he's running as a republican, but that's only because running as a libertarian doesn't work...yet. He's just playing his cards smartly. Candidates really do buy their way in. It'll be interesting to see just how many votes he gets!

Hi Aaron! For some strange reason, your comment is not showing up. It happens occassionally and I've yet to figure out why. I will copy and paste it:

Aaron's comment:
You’re right, Bobby. He will get a lot of votes from the military. In fact, Ron Paul’s campaign gets more financial support from active-duty and retired military and their families than all the other candidates combined. And that’s pretty powerful. They want out of this warmongering nonsense just as much as we do. More, actually, since they’re the ones actually dying because of it.

And they just had a pretty thrilling rally at the University of Texas. Between 4,000 and 7,000 people showed up for it. Wow. The numbers are strongly growing, so I’m not counting him out just yet.

Btw, if you want to see something truly interesting and inspiring, take a look at this: http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.asp

Ron Paul is the ONLY one who isn’t running a campaign based on debt. I think this is clear proof of how the others will treat our national budget and economy. If they can’t even keep their own campaigns out of the red, then how the hell will they keep our nation out of the red?! Ron Paul is clearly the only trustworthy and responsible one among them. And he continues to prove that over and over again simply by what he does personally.

Shine on,
Aaron

Thanks Aaron! Obama will be the next president but I'm voting for Ron Paul anyway. I think he'll get many more votes than expected, especially from the military!

Great post buddy. I am fed up too. More than fed up, actually. There is so much that is wrong with our government and our international policies that it's sickening. This is why we need someone like Dr. Ron Paul in office now more than ever. Ron Paul is the only one who will get my vote. I simply cannot deal with another 4 to 8 years of this bs.

Shine on,
Aaron

Eric! I cannot bear to even think about politics this month...haha!!! The next president will be Barack Obama - he cannot be stopped. I do like him and anything will be a "change" from Bush. I cannot stand Hillary and believe she is a criminal who like many others, is above the law
