Bobby’s Batch #6 – Blog Birthday

This is my 201st post (YAY!!!) along with marking my first year in this incredible communication medium known as blogging. Writing and reading so many great works has taught me that I am a tortured soul who is on the path of spiritual recovery (and that I may be a little wacky…according to my buddy Marzie…hehe) and is trying to get over being fed up with himself.

happy-blog-birthday.JPG

I also want to say Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! I don’t know what I’d do without my wonderful Asian friends…there are so many! I especially want to thank my many Malaysian and Singaporean friends who have been so kind to me. I have something coming up for you incredibly inspiring friends.

  • My first recommendation in this week’s edition is Zeitgeist-The Movie. If you only watch one documentary this year, watch this one. It is two hours long but well worth the time. What is so unbelievable is that you can watch it for free. You cannot rewind or fast forward the film (unless you download it) but you can pause it. This is my #1 most highly recommended site of the year. Even if you disagree with it, you must watch it…it is awesome, inspiring, shocking and beautiful.
  • Next, my good buddy Euroyank let me know about another great film (actually, he let me know about Zeitgeist also, a few months back) entitled Loose Change – Final Cut from the site www.loosechange911.com. This film takes a hard look at the events surrounding 9-11 and does actually present evidence from both sides. Thank God we still have the ability to produce our own media, that is what being free is all about. There are several films at the site and you need to watch them all.
  • Speaking of Euroyank, be sure to check out his Corporate Fascism – The State Within the State. This is just one of endless great posts; like I said before, I will help him along with anyone interested to spread the truth. Without the truth, we are all living a lie.
  • My friend Jackie wrote a great poem, Piercing, which contains many powerful elements including darkness and beauty. I enjoyed reading it and so will you. Jackie is a very sweet person who has a big heart!
  • I am so proud of two bloggers (who are both new friends) who have decided to write their own weekly link love posts, where they share articles they enjoyed recently:
  • 1. Square1 started her Muse Approved Posts – what a great title! She is a fantastic writer and more importantly, a wonderful person. While you are there, read several of her posts; you will not be disappointed.

    2. Madhur Kapoor started his Super Sunday Links Episode 1 – another very cool title! Madhur’s blog is all about gaming and technology (I met him through my buddy the Brown Baron). He writes a great blog and deserves to be read as he puts a lot of hard work into his site! Again, be sure to read several of his articles.

  • My new friend Sean Rasmussen (I met him a few months back on Stumbleupon) wrote Mindset Mastery eBook, this is free for you to download and read! His site is very inspirational and his ebook is fantastic. I spent most of today reading it and I have learned a lot. Sean is a great guy and you should read his book, which has been downloaded over a 1000 times in only six weeks!
  • Michael Skowronski, the author of Unforgettable Love Story, wrote Crime and Punishment – Both are Insane! This post explains how the punishment of humans is an outrage and there are much better ways to deal with these problems. I don’t know Michael very well, but the ideas in his writing are beautiful and incredibly meaningful. All of his posts are great, and you should take the time to read them. I agree with him on many issues. Love and the act of radiating it, is the true answer to the world’s problems. Thank you for writing such important information!
  • Last but certainly not least, is Mike’s (from Things by Mike) incredibly imaginative The art of finger fighting, a short film he made himself which incorporates cool special effects, humor and fun, all under the title of Sick Jack Films (what an awesome name!). He has another cool short film, Playing with sound and special effects featuring a gory suicide scene, I absolutely loved it…hahahaha! Mike, I hope you watch Zeitgeist…I promise, you will love it.

The New World Order – Zeitgeist

Am I a loony nut? I don’t know…haha, but after you read this post you may think I am.

The New World Order is not a conspiracy theory, it is a fact. Many of you have no idea what I’m talking about. Yes, this concerns all of you from every nation. First of all, I am no dummy, and am a highly educated person. I didn’t just decide I believed this theory, it was proven to me over a period of years.

My friend Euroyank, who many of you know, uses the picture of Neo from “The Matrix” movie series, is dedicating his life to helping wake people up. Just like in the movie, the world is just a false dream that has been pulled over the eyes of us all. I dedicate this post to him and the rest of you. What really sucks, is that so many of you aren’t interested in this stuff. It is because you have been brainwashed.

I am not copying what Euroyank is doing, I am joining him in this fight to keep us free from the coming governmental juggernaut known as the NEW WORLD ORDER – the secret society of the world’s most powerful people who will own each and every one of us. In America, they already do. I will be showing many of the same videos as he shows, and I urge each and everyone of you to do the same.

Watching the presidential candidates, John McCain, Mitt Romney and even Hillary Clinton, it is clear that they are merely puppets for this conspiracy. This “New World Order” is taking over the world, and no intelligent American can vote for these people. They are not protecting our liberties, they are destroying them.

To be honest, it scares me to hear these people speak, it is revolting. They want to make sure America is and always will be the most powerful military on Earth at the expense of the American people and of course all people from all countries. The middle class is being “phased out” for the coming reign of this totalitarian, all controlling, all knowing war machine of absolute domination and ownership of it’s people.

They talk about imposing our principals on the rest of the world. I say, “What principals? The United States spreads the most shallow principals of any country in history!”

This first video is where George Bush Sr. announces the arrival of this mass conspiracy. The first time I saw this, I realized that I was looking into the eyes of hell. This is scary. It sent a cold chill up my spine. I know evil when I see it. Please watch, it’s only 33 seconds long.[wp_youtube]_CWBTL33MpA[/wp_youtube]

This second video is around 10 minutes long, but you should watch it. I am finished with all things that are about me, this is about us. I don’t care about superficial things such as what brand of clothes you wear, what brand of car you drive, how nice your house is, how popular your blog is, how much money you have or anything else that contributes to a separatist reality. Please take 10 minutes and watch this…I beg you.

[wp_youtube]4PpMdTmVMpo[/wp_youtube]

The movie clip above is from what is, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most important movies ever made. The movie is awesome, that’s all I can say. It is Zeitgeist. You can watch the full 2 hour movie (for free) here:

zeitgeistmovie.com

It has taken a long time to deprogram my own mind from the horror that is. This movie will challenge and possibly shatter every belief you have ever had. It’s not really a movie so much, as it is a documentary; a documentary that will literally scare the hell out of you, and hopefully wake you up.

The American government blew up the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Osama bin Laden had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. It was a fabricated lie. I’ve heard that said many times, but didn’t really grasp it. The problem is, how can the criminals who did this be tried, when they run our government?

The elite secret group behind the United States government is taking over the world. I live here and I am against my own government. You must watch Zeitgeist. I will not give up, ever. I will remind you over and over and over until you all watch this film.

If you believe that Osama bin Laden caused 9-11…you are ignorant. Watch the film. Watch it several times. There is endless documentation proving that there is a secret organization called The New World Order (an unbelievably complex network of the financial elite…who controls the world…secretly). However, this movie is the best I’ve seen about it and clearly explains everything in explicit detail.

Am I crazy? N0…you are if you don’t believe it. It doesn’t even matter who I vote for, the person elected will not be in charge anyway. It is only a matter of time before everyone knows the truth and that is my goal – TO HELP SHOW YOU.

While we all have fun in our little lives, the world is being taken over right before our eyes by these people. If you’re not from America, well…they will own you too. America is the most powerful country on Earth, and just because you don’t live here, doesn’t mean you aren’t being brainwashed. How much do you actually know about mass hypnosis?

Just so you all know, I do believe in God and am very spiritual. I don’t know what to write after this post; it’s more important than anything else. The truth must be learned before this destroys the freedom of humankind. Most people don’t want to admit they believe any of this in fear of being coined crazy, paranoid fools.

The movie’s hard look at religion (which may be very offensive to you) has been challenged and scrutinized thoroughly by many critics, and I’m not saying everything is absolute, but is incredibly interesting and extremely well done. Part1 is about religion, part2 is about the myth of 9-11, and part3 is about the men behind the curtain. I do believe the segments about 9-11 along with the main theories and I challenge you to watch it.

Regardless of whether or not you believe it, you must watch it.

*I have since changed my opinions on much of this. I got caught up in the conspiracy theory/ 9-11 truther deal. Much of this was written out of anger and I do not believe in all this stuff.

I Believe – Wave of Peace

Today, I awakened with a positive energy – an unstoppable power throughout my entire being. My spirit is filled with warmth and love. The thought of being alive this very moment explodes within me, I share it with everyone. Anything is possible and I will it to be so.

This is more than happiness, more than positivity, more than belief; it is absolute and invincible – both gentle and explosive. This I know as surely as I am alive.

binary-wave.jpg

If you are a Christian, I urge you to reach out and accept all people from all religions. Say something about it. Write about it. Tell the world and do it with conviction. If you are a Muslim, reach out to all people of every faith and accept them completely in your heart. If you are Jewish, reach out to your Christian and Muslim friends. Accept them completely.

No matter what you believe, whether you are agnostic, atheist or from any intention – reach out to everyone and accept them. Let us not judge one another, we are all brothers and sisters. We must do this, the world cries out for us.

There is never a reason to kill another human being. The wars going on are the wars of cowards, greed, envy and pride. On April 6, 2007, I wrote a post I believe in entitled Promoting Racial Unity. Here’s a quote:

Instead of all of fighting against what we oppose we should promote what is good! This is true power. If you do not see that, you do not understand my point. I will end here as the point has been made and is plain and simple. It is also powerful; more powerful than any bomb or gun or hate group. It is all about LOVE!

This is the most important message of all. It is not my message, it wrote itself. It must be the mission of each and everyone of us. If I die today, I want everyone to only remember one thing about me – this message promoting goodness, hope and love. Mindless killings are the most horrible acts and are conceived in the hearts of evil fools.

I did criticize the ‘Law of Attraction’ in my previous post; I am not against the idea, only those who use it for materialistic gain. Money and material wealth are irrelevant and fill humankind with greed and evil. However, many people following these beliefs understand that. Therefore, any promotion of peace and goodwill born of honest intent, is the way.

No matter how you choose to do it, or which path you travel, we must have one united goal. If you but the smallest seed of hatred in you…you must rid yourself of it.

No one religion can or will save humanity, but acceptance of all people can and will. I know this to be true. Let us all stand together in the name of peace, not just our own religions or beliefs.

If we all write about unity, the peaceful resolution of all conflict and believe it, it will and must come true. I am inspired to believe, and will join with anyone in the name of peace – pure and untitled.

The Secret – Exposing The Truth and How it was Conceived

I was apprehensive about writing this post because I know that many of my readers buy into “The Secret” (a movie based in the law of attraction, featuring interviews and dramatizations). It is not my hope to upset you, but to wake you up. Even if you don’t agree with me, please read this with an open mind – afterwards, we can politely disagree!

Bobby Revell

A Look Behind the Marketing Cult

“The Secret” is basically the concept of Australian television author and producer, Rhonda Byrne, who claims she miraculously uncovered this ‘secret’ from reading The Science of Getting Rich, written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles.

She studied religions, cult leaders, televangelists, military leaders, philosophies and money making techniques used throughout history looking for a common thread – something that made them popular and effective. She also studied the ways powerful self-help, and positive attitude speakers fired up crowds and incited motivation.

This culminated in one of the biggest money making ideas seen from the self-help gurus; this is exactly my point. I hope you can wrap your brain around what I’m about to tell you.

The Hidden Thread of Mind Control

The most amazing idea in this, is that ‘magic thread’ Rhonda Byrne discovered; it is quite simply a marketing concept based on a little religion, yoga, Zen, quantum mechanics and power speaking. Do you see? The ‘secret’ she is selling people, simply describes how she is selling you on it.

She found (she really didn’t find anything, she is using the common techniques of cult leaders) a powerful way to sell you books and videos, and actually named the method she used after the concept she is selling! This is no secret and the truth screams in my face when I think about it! How unbelievably slick!

By psychologically playing into the hearts of millions of people who really need help, she has found a way to present you a cure, tapping into the psyche of desire that preys on your need for positivity and hunger for something to believe in.

Most of the people who believe in this pseudoscience, are mostly heartbroken women and men suffering from depression, or people who want an easy, magical money making technique (this is a fact). With Oprah Winfrey’s endorsement, she has sold over 3 million copies of “The Secret” DVD at $34.95 each!

Byrne is also a woman many women can relate to. She suffered depression and financial woes; this is one big reason she is able to sell her ideas. Women see themselves in her and she understands that. She is her own greatest sales tool! Do I hear corporate branding?

The psychological attribute of rationalization is thoroughly addressed in these concepts so that you are trained to believe it and argue for it – as you learn it, much like cult leaders do.

By the time you are feverishly enthralled in the program, you have already been trained to find endless reasons to not question it’s intent (the oldest trick in the book).

The real and only ‘secret’ is that if you can fool people, and prey on the emotionally distressed – making them feel happiness from the belief itself, you too can make millions the same way.

Here’s a basic idea believers are taught:

To attract an abundance of dollars, we must remember that we are wealthy in direct proportion to the amount of money that passes through our hands and that it is the movement of money that creates wealth.”

This is basic mind control, psychologically influencing you to rationalize it’s purpose; I learned that in high school.

The Wicked David Schirmer

One of the so-called gurus in the movie is David Schirmer, a multi-millionaire from Australia who is apparently ripping people off and using the secret to do it. Please watch the video below, you will see the truth!

My Conclusions

Perhaps you are thinking, “I see your point, but it has helped me and I believe it’s good.”

You have fallen into the matrix and swallowed the red pill! Stay in la la land or take the blue pill, and see how far the rabbit hole goes. The truth is, you do not need to purchase books and videos from these people to find happiness and cure an ailing heart or bank account.

You can be happy and make money by working hard and believing in yourself. Learn to be happy and fulfilled without the secret and law of attraction; this is the best advice I can give you.

If you carefully study the philosophies of Hermeticism and Theosophy, take yoga classes and listen to several Zig Ziglar motivational CD’s – perhaps you’ll see exactly how Rhonda Byrne conceived this marketing concept, just like I did.

It is very similar to the way scientology (sorry, I will not capitalize the S) was designed. Televangelists and cult leaders also use similar methods. Any intelligent writer with an understanding of how these ideas are conceived, can do the same thing. I did as a joke, read “Revelliantology For Newbies“.

Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying. I’m not saying that there is no such thing as the law of attraction or that thought and visualization doesn’t work – because it does work. Many marketing “gurus” sell ideas that are there to make money and probably will not work for you. I have studied Zen, Taoism, yoga, aikido and many human arts all my life. I just recently learned about “The Secret” and the law of attraction – both were nothing new to me. I was surprised that people were making millions selling repackaged, ancient ideas.

  • Time and time again, I’ve found the best blogs from a friend’s recommendation. My friend Square1 told me to check out Terry Heath.com, a great blog and very skilled writer. Terry has joined in the “You Comment, I Reply movement”! His post, Infuse Your Reports, Articles, and Blog Posts With Moments of Being, shows by example the meaning of it (very creatively). I highly recommend everyone read this fine work.
  • Square1 wrote the stormy cool, A Terrible Admission, an honest look at todays politics and upcoming presidential election. Like her, I am still undecided on who I will vote for; I must say it will not be a republican!
  • I praise the Sugar Queen, Judy, for starting another blog “The Downside of Up” that takes on more serious issues. She lets her readers take a very personal look into her life, and shares her wisdom. Her post entitled Opening Up, is about the signs of child abuse – from her real life experience. It’s not only important for parents to read, but for everyone.
  • Nafasg has a fantastic post, The Art of Keeping Yourself Optimistic. I’ve struggled with depression all my life, and still am. This article offers great points we can relate to – both easy to understand and enjoyable!

How To Be a Good Blogger: Karma

This article isn’t about how to make your blog good, it’s about how to be a good blogger. I don’t mean a skilled author; I mean a beneficial member of social networking society. Doing the right thing seems to be missing in many of our sites.

There are tons of ways to do good things, but this is about promoting and giving needed validity to your fellow community member’s articles. Being a “good person” is far more important than being popular or making money.

What is important in a blog? Obviously, the content is supposed to be. How do you make your content count? Making other people’s content count is my favourite method. Much of it depends on what yours is about and who your audience is. I could cure cancer in an article and put a picture of a cute puppy in another; the puppy will get all the attention and nobody will care if I save the world…haha (I’m ok with that and I love being sarcastic).

Unfortunately, mine will not be a “keyword targeting” success story. I’ve seen authors who incessantly game the system with a dedication to creating landing pages while they say viral marketing only brings useless, unrelated links.

They think they are better than someone who goes the viral route. I have news for you, it’s of the same ethical value; it’s gaming the system. One is more complex and difficult to employ than the other, but are both essentially “cheating the system”.

I don’t care which method of self promotion you use, it’s all cheating. Is it wrong? I say absolutely not. I am trying to get over my aversion to self-promotion because I do have something to say, and I want as many people as possible to hear my message.

I write about what I think humanity needs. I call people out on doing the wrong thing, and write about world peace and how each of us need to take responsibility for living. Without any effort on promotion, I am limiting myself.

Many of us, after writing for a while, say things like, “I don’t care about links, I don’t care about popularity. People that do are greedy idiots!”

What if your favourite music artists felt like that, saying, “I don’t care about recording an album or having listeners.”

I suppose all your favourite artists, musicians, writers and actors wouldn’t exist. What kind of world would that be? I have done nothing to promote my blog in a very long time. My page rank is still an unjustified zero. I’m not complaining though, because I do have a great base of readers and do well in natural search engine queries.

Some Solid Ideas For Your Blog

One thing many of us don’t do is write a weekly link post. Why don’t you? Like many people who put a lot of heartfelt work into valuable posts, I feel disappointed when no one notices or links to my good work. It’s not a “me thing”, it’s a “we thing”! I’m always on the lookout for good articles on lesser known blogs; you should too if you aren’t already.

I believe that if I have any popularity, it is because I give to others. It’s a byproduct of giving and helping others, not a goal. Here are my recommendations for some good things you should try:

  • You really should do a weekly link post; start one now (mine’s every Sunday)!
  • Find great articles written by your community members and link to their posts. Try to actually find and link to good work even if it’s unrelated to your content.
  • Look through their archives and find past posts that need a link.
  • Create a list of your most valuable posts and put it in your side bar (I’m working on that). You may have already written your best posts. Let people know what they are and you’ll increase your chances of being read or linked to.
  • If a niche blog is good enough, it could be a big hit with only a dozen posts – hardly ever adding a new one. It can become a well known reference for a plenitude of any type of content.
  • Remember, blogging is a social communication technology. It’s alright to want attention in moderation. Just don’t develop “Britney Spears Syndrome” or what I call BSS (it’s BS with an extra S). You may need to check into a blogaholics clinic to get clean if that happens…haha!
  • Memes and awards are great, but a link to deserved post is the greatest of all awards!
  • Be sure to check your incoming links regularly on Technorati. Go thank people for linking to you. It’s also a great way to see who maybe scraping your content.
  • Stick by your friends and don’t let money affect your judgment. Never forget where you came from.
  • We all start equally our first time here.
  • Don’t go around asking for links. Give, give and give some more. Participate in this digital society and it will come back to you.
  • Nothing is better than good Karma!

Nonchalant Eruption

I wrote a post which caused me to feel like I shouldn’t have written it. In the post, I viciously attacked Kenneth Copeland (a super rich televangelist who uses the word of God to make money and live a lavish lifestyle). The guy is selling happiness (a hundred fold return of happiness for your “donation”).

I sincerely apologize to two of my beloved readers, Square1 and Nimrodjo for deleting the post. Unfortunately, their comments were deleted along with it. I felt like I verbally assaulted Copeland and it bothered me.

Is it wrong to attack someone for doing something so abhorrent? Often, I am brutally honest in my writing. I pull no punches and my intent is absolute. I allowed “political correctness” to influence what I believe and how I express my opinion (that bothers me even more).

Does it make me an uncouth ruffian to say things in such an aggressive way? Does it make me less civilized, less intelligent or does it make me something worse? These are inner struggles which reflect my tormented spirit.

When I see the horrible things going on in this modern time, it weighs me down. I had someone tell me, “You need to chill out. You need to be nonchalant.”

Sometimes I want to slap the nonchalant attitude across it’s conceited, pretentious face – while looking down it’s powdered, regal nose of nobility.

Sometimes, things need to be said in an offensive way. How do you treat a murderer or a child molester with polite, political correctness? Let us discuss this disgusting human being like educated, ostentatious representatives of slimy egotism. I’m fed up with how society treats things in this half-hearted manner.

I present this “reprint” of the article I wrote. If I hide how I feel, I cannot be honest. Instead of being nonchalant, I will be brutally honest. I will not hide behind a mask, pretending to be something I’m not.

The truth is, Kenneth Copeland is a scumbag. There’s no other way to say it. This world is filled with people like him, and it needs to be said – in a plain, unadorned fashion. It is what it is. Here’s the post:

Kenneth Copeland: Human Scum

Every religion has many permutations, some good and some disgusting. Where I live, there are so many variations of Christianity, it’s unbelievable (no pun intended). People make up their own variations all the time. Some take the Bible literally, some have their own interpretations.

Of course, this all depends on which version of the bible a person follows…the old testament, the new testament…the King James version and so on. I get stopped several times each year by someone (usually in a grocery store) who asks me, “Have you been saved?”I usually answer, “Yes…I saved myself.” and walk away (simply to get away from them, I can’t get into a two hour discussion with every stranger). Some of them nearly resort to violence – with a crazed look of fear in their eyes.

They scream, “You will burn in the fires of hell for all of eternity!!!!”

That crazed look reminds me of some of the Islamic extremists I’ve seen. I think most religions are good and the people who believe are also good. I know many Muslims, Christians and Jews -they are good people who don’t promote violence. However, each of these has a dark side of hardcore fundamentalists who are dangerous and fearful.

I don’t mind people passionately believing in what they do. It gets out of hand when a person is attacked or ridiculed for not believing. The point isn’t whether I’ve been saved or not, it’s that I haven’t been saved at their particular church! One religious madman told me, “A person saved in the Catholic church, is doomed to hell.”

Nowadays, you can make up your own religion such as Scientology (a manipulative religion made up by a science fiction author). In America, you are rewarded for this; you are tax exempt.

I believe that corruption is so prevalent among religious profiteers, something must be done. It is our responsibility as citizens to change things. If we depend on the politicians to do it for us, it will never happen.

Kenneth Copeland, the “godfather of prosperity gospel” deserves to be imprisoned and stripped of all wealth. How obvious does it have to be? The guy is living like a king…tax free, using God to line his wallet. How can people be so ignorant? And some people still believe there is no such thing as mass mind control.

Islamic fundamentalists spread fear as a tool to further their quest. Fundamentalist Christians also spread fear; the fear that you’ll burn in hell if you don’t donate! The right wing republicans spread fear to keep themselves in charge.

Fear is the most powerful of all psychological tools. It comes in many forms and is easily disguised. It only takes one person who passionately believes something to gather a following.

I have friends from many religions and will continue to have them. I have faith in humanity and know that there will always be lost sheep looking for a leader. Pay attention to what is going on around you. Never be afraid to question your own beliefs.

I wasn’t trying to be polite with the title, it’s accuracy I’m striving for. Please think for yourself and don’t donate your hard earned money to Kenneth Copeland.

I have to give credit to Senator Charles Grassley for launching investigations into six money hording televangelists. This is one crime that must be punished. Please watch this video and see what you think.
