I wasn’t able to come online for the past few days as usual. I guess like you I have a lot of posts written down in advance, because during the weekdays, sometimes I am so busy with my work that I have no time to blog. And since I maintain a steady rate of one new post every week, I simply post the ones I’ve written in advance :-) Good tips there! I’ll remember them as we take this blog-journey further and further into the unknown. I too don’t read many popular blogs. In fact I hate most of the popular blogs because they don’t reply to any comments once they get popular. I mean, I’m not saying one has to reply to all the “wow, great post” comments with a “thanx” “thank you” “thanx man” replies. I’m talking about genuine comment discussion... some of these bloggers don’t even go through their comments section. I like the smaller humble ones, who are always ready to reply to all your discussions and queries. One more tip I wanted to add to yours... when I write about a particular topic that I am not so familiar with, say I am writing a poem or an article about culture, I always approach a blogger who has quite an experience on this particular subject, like for the poem I approach a Literature lecturer, and for culture I approach a sociology professor. Such people are always ready to help if you ask them personally (provided they aren’t THAT famous with a God complex) and their criticisms can be extremely constructive.
