Yeah, I know the feeling…its frustrating but learning knowing and witnessing all these happens before your eyes…I worked as a barmaid in a casino too for a year and a half…

It was horrifying to me at first, as I grew up and studied from primary school until i got my degree from an catholic exclusive school for girls. It is the reality, beyond the environment I grew up with. It’s real and sad, to find that out…although you learn a lot about life.

Wow, I never thought that such a bartender life could be so “entertaining” I am really shocked about the things that you could see in a Casino.

Most importantly thanks for sharing such entertaining stories, now It makes me want to spend some nights in a Casino spending dimes just to see what happens that specific night

Hi Eric! I was surprised that many of my individual posts were still on page 1 results 2 months after the rank deduction, but they were. I rarely check my rank, and threw a conniption fit in the street after seeing my lower score. The cops let me go thinking I was some mental patient and had never heard of page rank – those uneducated dummies.

I’m trying to get back into blogging again, but it ain’t easy! Good to see you too

I agree with you page rank philosophy … I have lots of blogs, and 3 of them are page rank 4. One of them has only 18 posts and little traffic (very few links too)
There is a massive difference in the search results. I can publish the same exact thing, same exact keywords and get varied rusults, ALWAYS favoring my main blog with a large variance.

The story about the man’s wife cheating on him sent my heart dropping from my chest. Been there.

Ohhh, the BIG BANG was just a link farming idea that produced many plants, but cured no hunger

@J.C.: Thanks! Anything that gathers attention is going to generate income, even if it’s offensive or sick. I’m thinking it’s easier to become a famous author by getting attention for something else than on merit of actually being talented. For instance, if I was accused of murder and got away with it, I could sell millions of books and become a famous blogger overnight…but I digress.

@Michelle: Pagerank has been up and down for me. According to the math, my site should be a PR5 because I have over 40,000 incoming links – mostly from high ranking blogs. Several months ago they busted me down to a PR Zero! Then it came up to 3, now to 2. It hasn’t affected my visibility at all, so it makes no difference. This proves that individual posts are infinitely more important than the home page. I’ve seen some newer blogs with a PR4, but only have a few hundred incoming links. I’d like Google to explain that!
