I think of the Zen painter who spent endless waking hours painting a masterpiece and purposefully did not sign his name . . . he knew that all is eventually forgotten. I think it would be difficult to write without ego. Unless you are writing some kind of technical report and even then, it might be difficult. But I really have never suffered from writer's block either since my diagnosis. Weird. I have lots of writing ideas. I just sometimes don't feel like writing about them. LOL. That is only because I allow it to be this way. It is not easy to get around sometimes. My thinking is limitless, society does not control any of my artistic creativity. I do not judge others only myself. I am mindful of differences of opinion and respect that even if I do not agree. Over inflated ego has no place in my world, either my own or anyone else's.
