For example: we all know Elvis' voice when he sings--and people love to imitate him. It's distinctive and easy to identify. A writer can do the same thing. "I often write things other people are afraid to write or disgusted by . . . probably because society says it’s wrong in many respects." great! i also feel a bit of a black sheep. i'm not exactly poetry. not exactly fiction.. not exactly photography.. i'm a bit of everything, etc. i admire writers who pave their own way. even though i know there is really no such thing as originality. ;P i'd like to pretend. hi, i came here through jennifer and will certainly check in periodically.
