Over the past few years, I’ve made many observations about how bloggers operate and I’ve come the the conclusion that in blogging as in life, the blogging snobs, elitists and ass kissers rise faster and climb higher – making some interesting psychology. What exactly do I mean in saying that? Are you a blogging snob? Are you a wannabe blogging elitist? Will you discard all friends like toilet paper as you climb higher and higher – like disgusting porno drama queen Paris Hilton? Do you kiss the asses of famous bloggers trying to ride their coattails and eat their crumbs?

So much of the advertising industry is based on taking advantage of people’s fears, psychological disorders and negative self image. Advertisers prey upon psychological dysfunction every day, and it is becoming more widely spread. Like many of you, I often sit up late at night and watch all those ridiculous infomercials. Do marketers sit around asking themselves questions like, “What is wrong with me and how can I fix it? Not only that, how can I do it easily with hardly any effort?”
To run an infomercial costs thousands of dollars each day they run, but someone is buying those products. Ultimately, any Internet marketing blogger would love to have an infomercial – I know I would! Most of them are get rich quick courses which endlessly run 365 days per year. What people fail to realize, is that once you purchase any of them, you have declared open season on yourself to be incessantly bombarded with more advertising. They want you to pay for seminars, mailing lists and try to milk every last penny from your bank account. The truth is, most people never get rich using these schemes and waste their money on them. I’m not saying they are all bad, but many are.

It never ceases to amaze me how companies make millions selling bogus products that do not work. In the early 70′s, a product called a solar clothes drier made a company millions upon millions. It consisted of a string and directions which read: Tie between two trees and hang your clothes on it while the sun is shining. Then you had that ridiculous million dollar idea, The Pet Rock, which was a stupid rock in a cardboard home. They made truckloads of cash.
Nowadays, one of the easiest ways to rip people off is selling them fraudulence in the area of “homeopathic” remedies. Just remember this, if it is labeled homeopathic, it doesn’t work. Homeopathic means it is modern day snake oil, or Corinthian leather. It means it contains nothing, or something in such small diluted amounts that it costs nothing to manufacture.
Here’s an example of what homeopathy is:
Salt causes you to retain water, which could be construed as a cure for dehydration by an evil marketer trying to sell you a bogus remedy. To make it into a magical remedy, you dilute the salt into water – not just once, but anywhere from a hundred to thousands of times. It becomes a sodium solution labeled “1000x”. The more times it’s diluted the more powerful it is…hahaha! Then, by harnessing imaginary resonant vibrations, it becomes a cure for water retention! That’s right, the opposite of what it normally did before it was diluted. If poison ivy makes you itch, then dilute poison ivy 1000x and it now cures the itch instead of causing it. It’s actually more complicated than that but you get the idea. In other words, it doesn’t work. It is a blatant marketing scam with extremely low overhead. One poison ivy leaf could make a million bottles of itch tonic.
Head On
The king of this type of product is one you may have seen advertised on TV called “Head On”, a waxy grease stick that you rub on your forehead to cure headaches. Please don’t waste your money on any of these deceptive products. On the other hand, the company who made this (Miralus Healthcare) are marketing geniuses. The words “head on” are repeated three times very loudly in a brainwashing fashion much like the word terrorism is repeated ad nauseam on the US daily news. This is an unforgettable commercial. Brainwashing is a fantastic marketing tool. It has been used successfully by people such as Adolf Hitler and president George W. Bush.
Miralus Healthcare made millions selling this fake Headache cure
My Ingenious Start up
To prey upon people’s fears of the supernatural, I want to market a special anti-ghost salt. Based on ancient folklore – salt has long been used to protect homes from ghosts, ghouls, demons and evil spirits. Just look at how many people bought a Ouija Board to contact spirits – an ingenious marketing plan indeed.
Unlike Kosher salt, Spirit Salt is blessed. $24.95 per box
I thought up a TV commercial for my product: Show a terrified little girl crying and shivering in fear. She screams, “Mommy, daddy, there’s a monster in my room. Please save me.”
The mom sprinkles “Spirit Salt” in her door way and window sill. The little girl goes to sleep with a smile on her face – protected from monsters. A priest pops up and says, “Don’t live in fear any longer. If you love your children, protect them from evil with Spirit Salt! Let your kids know you really care. Revellian’s Spirit Salt, don’t let the goblins get ya!”
You place it on the bottom shelves in grocery stores so frightened children will see it and beg. Make the parents feel guilty for not buying it. Also, the kids will think their parents don’t care about them if they don’t purchase it – pure brainwashing perfection. So, do I have a million dollar idea? I’m looking for investors, please contact me immediately if you have start up capital.

One thing I rarely discuss on this blog is my experience in selling and closing deals mostly because I became disgusted with the way most money blogs operate on line. You know the deal – you plaster endless ads all over your blog and pray for people to click them so you can make .05 cents. Then you focus your content and hone in on keywords trying to follow the advice of “experts” who will teach you how to do it efficiently. Hasn’t it crossed your mind that these experts are just wanting your traffic so that you may click their ads? Overall, it’s a very poor way to make money. Most bloggers make like $100.00 per year, but many lie about those figures so they will seem more successful than they are. I hope this article will help you understand something that can help you in many ways – not just for making money, but in life as well.
Money Attracts Money?
In the summer of 2004, I was working as a bartender in the Grand Casino Resort swimming pool cabana. It was the highest paying job I have ever had for the short time I worked there. I made $27,000.00 in tips alone – in four months! I learned some unusual lessons about money while working there. We had this gigantic glass tip bucket sitting on top of the bar. A regular sized tip jar would have been far too small.
The first busy day we had there, the tip jar was filled to the top in cash. It was so full, it was obscene. It was rude, tacky and was in every customer’s face. The three bartenders (myself included), left with over $500.00 each that day. Our manager told us she thought (yes, I had a female manager who was one of the best I have ever had – her name was Ruth Crane) that the tip jar was offensive to her. She asked us to empty it into a bag when it got so full so we wouldn’t have this insanely money stuffed beast in everyone’s faces.
So, the next day, we did just that. We were actually busier that day than the day before. We emptied the colossal cash bucket just as she had asked. I left work with $90.00 that day – ouch! I took in over $17,000.00 but only made $90.00 in tips – Strange indeed. Why was that? It seemed logical that an empty tip jar would attract lots of tips…right? No, it doesn’t work like that, or so we thought. We talked to the manager and told her what happened. She agreed that if it hurt our tip rate, we should go back to putting the overstuffed jar back up – shoving it in everyone’s faces. We did just that and our tip rates exploded through the roof!
Attitude Was The Real Reason
Was the tip jar being packed or empty the real cause of success or failure – or was something else at work? I suspected it was something else. I talked it over with the other bartenders and we decided to try something based on my suspicion. I thought, because we had that huge tip jar out, loaded with cash, it affected our attitudes during work. We got used to seeing all that money and were much friendlier and enthusiastic with our customers.
We started keeping the tip jar completely empty at all times, but paid attention to our attitudes and customer service 100% more. We pumped each other up and kept ourselves excited throughout the day having loads of fun. We learned to make even more massive amounts of money without even noticing how much we had made. We depended on ourselves, not that tip jar. I earned the well deserved nickname, “Cabana Bobby” because I loved my job so much. It was lots of fun. I worked wearing comfortable shorts and a tank top, looking at girls in bikinis all day – all while making great money.
It’s definitely not that money attracts money. A winning, enthusiastic and positive attitude is what really attracts money. This really defines what people think of as the “law of attraction”. Originally, this idea comes from ancient India. It is a concept from Hinduism, which is by the way, the oldest known religion. I have studied similar ideas from my life long study of yoga and it’s inherent philosophies. I am just now beginning to truly understand what I learned.
Although my blog is not about how to make money, I thought this cool little story might be beneficial to anyone, regardless of what kind of blog or website you have. True success and a winning attitude really does come from within. We proved that working in this simple job. We learned that we had been depending on that full jar to make us money, while the real solution was inside ourselves. It’s really amazing to think about.
It Comes From Within
My wonderful friend Morgan, told me that when looking for love, we must look within to find it. I wanted to thank her because she has really helped me on numerous occasions. Though this money making example is not about love – the same principle is at work. The answers truly do come from within, in every area of life. It’s so cool how someone can say such a little thing that has a huge, resonating effect. It has helped me piece together many things I already know, but didn’t truly understand. You see, we made huge money without looking for it. It’s much like people saying you find love when you’re not looking for it. Life is just funny that way.
I believe it has a lot to do with being relaxed internally and not being desperate. You must be at peace with yourself inside. If you’re not, people notice – maybe only subconsciously, but it does have a powerful effect on your attitude and how people perceive you. Your personal vibe is more powerful than you may believe. You must learn to be aware of it and how to control it – from within.
Just for your information, the Grand Casino resort was destroyed by hurricane Katrina. The storm lifted the gargantuan casino up and slammed it onto the middle of highway 90 in Gulfport, Mississippi. It was an absolutely unbelievable sight to behold. I thought I would show you some awesome pictures of the casino. I live only around 7 miles from this location. I am a hurricane Katrina survivor.
Above left is before the storm, right is after. Note how all the trees were annihilated

First, I want to say that many of you have participated in the Blogging For Friendship Project recently and I am working on the posts now. I have some surprises for all of you. Also, my good friend Christy and I are definetly still friends
I don’t like to have a woman upset with me! A man? Who cares…but a woman, no freaking way.
My New Site Launching Soon
I bought a domain specifically for earning money and ruthlessly salivating over every $2.83 monthly payment…ha ha ha! Honestly, I need a new pair of shoes really bad and a $750.00 SEO book…LOL!!!!
Trying to come up with a fresh name for a money blog isn’t easy, I mean there are people buying every domain name they can in that niche in hopes people will have to buy it from them because all the cool names are already used.
I was trying to think of something with the word monetize in it and I don’t know why. The suffix “zilla” is used on many sites like Mozilla, Filezilla, etc. This inspired me to come up with a very cool niche site name – Monetize + zilla = Monetizilla , using Godzilla as the Logo star. It will be Monetizilla Dot Com!
It will be no ordinary cash blog. It will be serious monetization training, advertising, paid reviews and satirical, “Pulp Fiction – Mad Magazine” articles and stories. I can’t reveal too much, but I assure you that I may be sued by some famous star for writing lurid tales about them.
An Awesome Contest Coming Soon
I will also be having a contest very soon!!!!!!
Yay!!!!! I’ll give you some details now. I will be giving away a website created and hosted by me. The winner will have to choose a domain name and buy it. What? The winner has to buy it? Yes, it is $10.00! The 1st year will be paid in full. It is a contest for those of you who may have a blogspot blog and want to go professional.
If you are interested in owning your own site and getting all the awesome features available only on a self hosted blog, don’t wait until it’s too late to buy the name you want. For many people, hosting themselves will be difficult. That’s where I can help. I will be providing weblog hosting to a lucky winner!
My host is BlueHost, one of the best available. When someone joins BlueHost by my referral, I make $65.00, which is a nice check for one referral. They charge $6.95 per month+ the $10.00 domain name registration. I paid mine all at once, which was $95.40.
If you join Blue Host with me as your referral, I will give you 1/2 of my commission which would be $32.50! That lets you buy and own your own site for only $62.90, that is the best deal you can get anywhere. This really pertains to people who will need help and coaching to learn how to operate a professional site.
I will help you go over everything. If you have a blogspot blog and want to move it without losing page rank, I’ll help you do that too. If you are thinking about that dream site, get it now, before your desired name is unavailable. Then, you will own it! The Unexpected Highs and Lows in Blogging
I think most of us remember what it was like before we started blogging. Do you remember? And then you started really getting into it, you couldn’t believe how much better it was than previous speculations. Whether you’re a beginner or pro, it is not easy to keep a blog going year round.
I am seeing many people blogging intensely for a while, but they crash soon after. There comes a point where for many of us, where it is obvious that we are blogging all day, everyday. You will either quit, or you’ll need to be making money to stay in it.
You don’t have to be a money blog to make money blogging
If you think about memes many of us have done, it is astonishing the amount of work we all put into it. Think about how many billions of linking pathways we have etched throughout the Internet!
If you have a personal blog, learning more about the technical side will actually help keep you from getting burned out. I will never be a true money blogger, but I will make a lot of money blogging! The money oriented, tech news and seo bloggers get burned out even more easily than personal bloggers because of the endless pace.
Sure you can cut down a little if needed, but I recommend that when burned out, to do something totally different with your blog. When you do, it will be a new thing and you’ll have a new interest!
- The Blogger Who Lasts Is One Who Learns To Be Different Types of Bloggers
- I think the modern blogger has to be more than one sided. Learn to do what you can’t.
- Learn to be a money blogger. Learn to be a fun blogger. Learn to be a social blogger.
- Don’t go overboard in one area, like 6 months of endless memes and awards. Stop, calm down, and put on your money making mask.
- Write 2 posts per day for both PPP and Smorty until you get tired of it. Instead of quitting that altogether, take a full week to just read and comment on other blogs.
The point is to mix things up. I have found that changing gears suddenly, out of the blue. then doing something totally different is effective in keeping me interested.
I do think that the social network, Yuwie is a way that personal bloggers like most of you could easily make good money. It’s a social network that pays. If you approach Yuwie like a massive community meme, the money will be easy to make.

What I understand is that basically you sign up: Click Here To Join. Then you need to sign up 3 people. After that, you help each of the 3 people under you to sign up 3 people. If we can power a meme like a tidal wave, Yuwie will be easy!
Here’s a chart showing how this meme approach could work:
The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3,
then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page
views for the month, and the month’s RSR is $0.50.
LEVELS – REFERRALS – IMPRESSIONS – EARNINGS
1—————3—————3,000—————$0.15
2—————9—————9,000—————$0.45
3—————27————-27,000————–$0.54
4—————81————-81,000————–$1.62
5—————243———–243,000————-$4.86
6—————729———–729,000————-$14.58
7————–2,187——–2,187,000————-$43.74
8————–6,561——–6,561,000————-$328.05
9————-19,683——19,683,000————-$984.15
10————59,049——59,049,000————-$8,857.35
TOTAL——88,572 —–88,572,000————$10,235.49 every month!
1000 page views is not a lot. I just need 3 people to join under me. It is better to build deeply than just one layer. The network of people on yuwie are VERY HELPFUL! It’s all about being paid to make millions of friends.
That Page Is Rank – Smelling
Oct 28
Bobby The Snob
Notice how I “cashed” up my blog to celebrate my new found status as a aristocratic page rank 4 site? That’s right…I’m gonna be rich. If you have a page rank of 0, please leave. I only associate with my kind. I am now, a snob. None of the A-listers have invited me to dinner! I suppose they just haven’t heard yet.
I’m waiting on the Google armored truck to pull up any second. Wait, is that them? False alarm! Wow, I sure wish they would hurry! Will Google be bringing me a new car too? I’m sure they will. What kind of luxury car do page rank 8 sites get?
