Love For Janice

Today is the saddest day I have ever experienced since starting into this world of blogs. I was saddened by some news that had me crying upon hearing it

My very good friend Janice NG from This Is A Miracle, lost her brother today.

May your brother rest in peace.

If you don’t know this wonderful mother of two, please show her some love and support.

We are here for you Janice.

Fighting Abuse: A Tribute To The Late Nurin Jazlin (1999 to 2007)

Please take the time to read this most important article.

In our times of darkness, children are the ones who will brighten us up. No matter what ordeals we have to endure in our daily lives, we know that we can overcome them the moment we set eyes on children. Their innocence and purity in them will always give us a sense of peacefulness and calm that is beyond words. And it goes without saying that life would be meaningless without seeing them smile, hearing them laugh and cry, and feeling their small and flawlessly gentle hands that want to reach out to us.

Yet, there are some who show no empathy and sensitivity towards these beautiful souls. Worse still, they would dunk themselves into physical violence and cruelty towards the children without even thinking twice. Such acts can deem someone to be worse than an animal, because even an animal has compassion and love for its young.

What is going on with this world? Why must such horrid acts be carried out? Why do these people ever exist in this world?

Please take this time to read this special message from us, and show your utmost support and sympathy towards the family of the late Nurin Jazlin, who passed away tragically and brutally at the age of only eight. Little Nurin Jazlin’s body was discovered in a gym bag on 17th September, one month after she was abducted. Upon the discovery, she was seen to be in the most horrifying state ever. Her hair was short and curled up, when it was originally straight and long. Her body was pale and badly bruised from head to toe, and there were traces of foreign objects like brinjal and cucumber found in the virginal area of her body.

Parents of the deceased took a long time to acknowledge her death, but eventually did after all the thorough DNA tests had been carried out by the forensics department. Her body was finally buried on 21st September. Her father, Jazimin Abdul Jalil, had expressed his sorrow towards this tragedy, stating that whoever who caused her death was not a human being, but rather, an animal.

This was the result of an outrage of modesty (See Picture On The Right) caused by a man of age between 35 and 40, who was thought to be someone who enjoyed torturing people, particularly children. Along with him was a 23-year-old lady, who was apparently his partner in crime. The lady had been found and called for questioning by the Malaysian authorities, whereas the man has yet to be found. Hence, we are urging all of you here to play your part in finding this serial killer cum sexual offender and ensuring that justice is served to the deceased and her family.

If you know of the culprits’ whereabouts, keep us informed immediately, or directly inform her uncle, Jasni Abdul Jalil, via his blog, which he had specially created as a form of dedication to her.
Over the years, we have heard of children’s lives being taken away due to the evil doings of heartless adults. Nurin’s death was one of the most gruesome and tragic deaths that made many of us shocked, despaired and furious. Do you want more children to die in the hands of these sadistic people? Do you still wish to hear such saddening news of child abuse? Then let us do our part right away! Together we can make this world a better place for the little ones. Let us all join hand in hand and put a stop to such cruelty towards them once and for all! Fight against child abuse today. We have created a logo to show our support towards the fight against child abuse. I am publishing this article because of my incredible friends at: NAFASG

Please read this, it is of truly noble meaning. Maybe this will get the job done! You never know and that’s the point. Nafasg has been a great supporter of this blog and I simply adore the Nafasg team. Read their blog. It will be worth your while! Hi Nafa! Let us hope we can make a difference together. I’m late on this post but it is my lack of punctuality.

SANDY G
Dear Readers,We hope that you can spare some of your time reading this article. It would mean a lot to one of our good friends in the blogosphere, if you can help her in this. Our good friend named Sandy is currently searching for a person whom she had always regarded as her best friend. They were very close to each other, until a conflict between them arose. Ever since then, both of them lost touch of each other. It has been nine long years since they last communicated with each other, and Sandy is deeply affected by her best friends absence. Her greatest wish right now is to reunite with her best friend and be close to her like before. Her best friends name is Judy Sanford and is staying with her husband named Mike. According to Sandy, she was last found to be staying in California. Whether she is still staying in California or not is still a question mark. But you could be the person to answer the question!

If you happened to know Judy and her whereabouts, kindly inform us or inform Sandy directly via her blog. Even if you have never heard of Judy, you can still do your part by spreading this heartfelt message via your blogs.

Your immediate response to this message is greatly appreciated. What we are doing may be something small, but if all of us can put our hands together and be part of the search, it can bring two best friends together again after nine long years.

Sandy, please be strong in going through this obstacle in your life. Have great faith that miracles can happen, always look on the bright side of life, and believe that your long awaited wish could come true. We are here for you and will do our best to help you.

Judy, if you are reading this, please contact Sandy as soon as possible. She really misses you and wants to make up for the lost times. Let bygones be bygones. Hope that you will reciprocate Sandys feelings as soon as you can.

Help Jackie Find Her Sister

My friends at NAFASG have asked me to help out in a very noble cause. I am more than happy to help them help Jackie in finding her long lost sister!
Please spare some time to read this post that we have written on behalf of a good friend of ours in the blogosphere. By reading this post and spreading the word to the others around you, you could reunite two people who shared an extraordinary relationship. You could be the one to reunite two sisters.

Her name is Jackie Hooper, also known as Shinade. Her biological mother was Maxine Soape, but a couple had adopted her. According to her, besides her mother, she also had a younger sister as a family member. Just like her, her sister, who was born in 1959 or 1960 and is three years younger than her, had also been adopted out to another couple, by her own paternal uncle.

Both were born in the same hometown of East Texas, but are now being adopted by two different couples and have been separated since then. The sister is currently staying with her adopted parents in Pueblo, Colorado.

Jackie has never stood a chance to watch her younger sister grow, and has never even known what her sisters name is.

As painful as it is to be worlds apart from your friends, it is even more painful to be worlds apart from your own flesh and blood. So readers, we hope that you can show some sense of empathy towards Jackie Shinade Hooper who longs to rebuild her life with her younger sister whom she holds very dear in her heart throughout the years.

This is your chance to do something good for someone in our global society who is in need of our helping hands.

If you can provide any information about Jackies sister that would be able to assist Jackie in her search, we urge you to keep us in the loop or directly inform Jackie at her blog. Your liberality towards helping out in this search would be greatly appreciated by all of us here, but the one who would be most thankful to you is Jackie herself.

A little kindness goes a long way. Readers, please show your compassion towards someone who wants nothing else but to reunite with her beloved younger sister once again. They share a strong kinship, and they deserve to be together till the end of time.

Please read this special message from our friend, Jackie, and start doing your part in finding her long lost sister.

My only message would be that I would so like to have the opportunity to get to know her and her family. I know she has children also. And, that I love her even though I don’t know who she is or where she is. Jackie Shinade Hooper

Jean is the Best

My great friend Jean from A Great Pleasure just gave me an award! This award means more to me than any other award I have received because it came from someone who really cares. Some people give or create awards hoping for back links as the award spreads across the blogosphere (think thinking blogger award). This award is directly from her to me and that is totally sweet and wonderful. Jean, this is the nicest thing anyone has done for me since I started blogging almost 6 months ago(I take that back as there have been some other great things done for me! This is one of the nicest things, I don’t want to take anything away from the other wonderful people here). Thank you

Bobby Defends Mariuca

Another blogger because of a recent post and a comment left on my site has prompted me to explain a few things. Dave Lucas said the following on a recent post entitled Ethical blogging:

{“Because there are certain people who are not really blogging: they think they’re in a ‘popularity contest.’ I think it started with MySpace. The race to add “friends” and more “friends” has spread to bloggers who crave links, hits and “recognition.”}

That is true of a lot of viral practitioners, of course the same is true of any one trying to be popular or make money, etc. Money means nothing to me and popularity, I honestly never think about it. The foundation of links I’m building are with mostly people who havee none at all. Very few bloggers with high authority share anything with the newbies and personal bloggers. Personally, I love to teach new bloggers how everything works, answer questions, and try my best to help them see the positive virtue in being a social-network member. I don’t judge what they write or say he’s not a real blogger or she needs to be on my space. I can write anything from stories, essays, opinion, philosophy in many different styles and I have done a lot of it. Right now I’m testing things and for reasons other than “popularity”.

The people I viral network with, I know them. I have made a lot of good friends through it. And I could care less if technorati dumps it or bans me from the web. I’m here for the challenge, for friends and the viral environment is part of it right now.

Dave said this about my good friend Marzie:

{“I came across Marzie after joining MyBlogLog. She’s a nice girl, who managed to blowout Technorati. She’s made plenty of cyber-friends, myself included. She’s racked up hits and links and been favourited… but, for what? Does anyone really care about what she writes? She’s made friends, and that’s good. She’s highly ranked in Technorati, bit so-whattie? July 10-16 there wasn’t a single new post on her blog”}

Well, we love her and think she’s great. Her blog is my favourite and she is my favourite person on line. She is beautiful and sweet:)

marzie.jpg782553774l.jpg

Dave, no matter how you slice it – that is just uncalled for and rude. Marzie is a professional writer who is having fun. Yes, you’re right, she doesn’t follow a schedule of when she posts. I remember one two week stretch of no post, her rating still went up and up! People still commented daily and still read today. The reason her and her blog are popular is because she is the friendliest, sweetest and caring person on the web! People love her! So why on Earth are you picking on her? Her technorati authority a “big so-whattie?” I hate to tell you this but she really doesn’t even care about her authority. She is just a great friend who isn’t concerned of her’s or anyone else’s ratings. As far as her trying to be popular – that is so ridiculous. She’s actually shy and isn’t trying at all to even be competitive. She helps anyone who asks her and is just the one person on this Earth who is so far removed from any of your points, it is. . .ok, I was mad but now this is funny.

I hope you understand we’re a lot different than you think. She is my friend and I would never judge her blog. Maybe you’ll change your mind one day:smile:

3rd Generation Viral Matrix: Viral Icons

If you have any trouble with this refer to this great instruction guide by Jeanchia.

I got this from The Thinking Blog and these icon based viral links seem pretty cool. The thinking blog stated that visual links were more their style simply because they are visual.

The idea is simple and follows suit with the previous viral schemes but instead it is done with favicons. When an ALT tag is used to describe your image with an alternative text, this can help to improve your page relevance. In other words, if ALT attribute contains keywords that are specific to your page’s topic, it will help your keyword density.

Moreover, when optimizing a site/web page for Google, remember that this attribute is taken into great consideration by Googlebot when spidering and indexing your pages. Thus, the ALT tag of an hyperlinked image tag has the same importance of a text link.

Instructions:

Important Update – Please read here!

1.) Copy and paste the matrix of Viral Icons below courtesy of Ilker Yoldas from The Thinking Blog. (to support Ilkers quest of launching his own Internet Startup with a student budget, please consider subscribing to the Full RSS Feed and enjoy interesting posts in the meantime. “Knowledge grows when shared!”).

2.) Upload your non-animated favicon (GIF image of size 16×16 pixels) to ImageShack, a similar free image hosting server or to your own server provided by your hosting service if you have one.

3.) Substitute the Host Icon and one of the Viral Icons in the matrix with your ALT text of choice and your blogs URL. Maximum of 3 specific keywords for the ALT text are best for it to be effective.

Here is an example: Example Viral-Icon Code

4.) When you get a ping back from someone that has your icon in one of their Viral Icons, practice good karma by copying his/her Host Icons code (automatically the associated ALT tag will also be copied) and paste it over one of your Viral Icons below.

5.) Invite your readers to do the same and soon this can grow virally.
